You can renew a domain on the last day if you want. Being that you own one, you should know that.

Wouldn't it be something if they actually trademarked that name?

You can't register an expired domain name until 2 months after it expires if i remember correctly. I think that's one of ICANN's rules. The domain name would stay in an "on hold" state.

You let your domain expire? So irresponsible of you!
Maybe the ICANN rule is new?

I think if you provide your proof you can take back your domain.. last time I purchase domain at netsol and mine expired after 1 someone else took it. but i then contact netsol and tell him i can't reply their email before because i am not able to do so and give them about some prrof and they give back my domain and I renew it
cake again

I don't think we should be worrying about this one at all. I'm sure 12 DP are pro enough to sort it out when the time comes.
We're getting into an unnecessary panic here, guys.

Not like I was using it. I have like 20 domains and only use 3. I need to start selling them off.

Plans yes. Using it, no... Exactly what I mean. I keep buying and forget to actually put plans in motion.

I Had a domain lockout 2 months after expiry, paid out $13 fo 2 more years. Just another site for me, but, I would bet that 12dp's legal people would be right on top of the expiry date.

12DP's legal people? An autosurf which is a ponzi, has legal people? Really?

Almost all domain registrars will nag you to death to renew your domain before it expires, starting at 90 days and counting down. It's pretty hard to let it slip by, unless you're TheMobileHookUp I guess

What if 12DailyPro has made enough money and is ready to run? Maybe they wont renew it.

RELAX...RELAX!!
Just enjoy things now and quit making more problems and worries for tomorrow.
I go by the philosophy that until I need to cross the bridge I am not going to even think about it until it is time to think about it. Why make things up that arent even there and get all worked up over nothing.
Even if by some strange chance 12DP did not renew their name, they could still get it renewed within 60 days of it expiring....granted it would cost them close to $100 to do so...but I really cant see that happening.
Sometimes I think people are miserable if they dont have anything to worry about...so they think up these little what if scenarios and go nutso Just chill and enjoy 12DP...dont take things so seriously.

How much would it cost to get a Domain name reserved?
a .com one??
I think 12 Daily will definitely renew it, ST has been around over 2 years, 12 Daily hasn't even been around 1 year yet.

If you want to reserve a name or at least be on the list to receive the name once it expires, then you go to your registrar, and sign up for whatever they offer in that category.
It costs around $20 to $50 and you can reserve whatever the name is that you want, only if it becomes available. They also let you track names and watch them to see if they expire. But again for a fee.
Then if you need hosting you can look at my signature..

Thanks for the info!
It seems the site name I want is already registered. When I go to the site, there is nothing there. I will have to buy that site name from whoever owns it lol
Do you happen to know how to find the owner or person who registered name?
