Just curious....
Anybody getting results marketing with craigslist and the like? Not necessarily making straight sales, but anybody managing to build their lists significantly? Any sites we should know about?
Cheers

I don't really use Craigslist for marketing, however, in my opinion, the site is extremely outdated. Some people like the old, simple look, but unless they innovate and add new features I don't think Craigslist will remain as popular as it is.
I'd like to know about classifieds too.
For instance, are they over saturated or does it all depend on what you're advertising? JoAnn
I use to use Craigslist all the time until they made their rules so strict it's hard to get one classifed on there. I actually have success with free online classified sites. I have a bunch of them that I post ads to each day and I get a lot of leads that way for my business.
Penny Saver classifeds Backpage Those are the two that I get the most responses from, but I do use a lot of others as well.
I use Craigslist on a regular basis to market my MLM business. I will post 4-6 new ads every week with a link to my site and I receive anywhere from 5-15 leads a week from them. Considering I only spend about 15 minutes posting my ads, it's totally worth my time. I always ad that into my weekly schedule of things to do consistently.
Classified ads is certainly not dead.
One need to post attractive & colorful ads. You may not get a lot of results with just text ads. The second rule is to post daily. A huge number of Americans buy from craigslist ads & i have had success with health books & moneymaking ads in some cities. Posting ads daily is another key. If you post 10 ads everyday, you will have 70 quality ads at any given time & results are bound to come in sooner or later.
Great ideas everyone - I'm wondering, what is an extensive list of classified sites? I think classifieds will always exist, it's just about optimizing and evolving the classified sites to that next level
craigslist is not dead, not even close its the best god dam site i use lol
