buzzom.com This is a great tool to find good people to follow in your niche. Click the "twitin" button at the top of the page to find my favorite feature: "crossfollow" with this you can find people
who are following leaders in your niche.... ie. type in keithbaxter and buzzom brings back 50 people following keith. Then you can bulk follow his followers with the push of a button, 50 at a time...

(Don't follow over 300 people a day or you could get banned... I'm not sure the exact number.... other opinions on this?)

socialoophm.com I use this site to set up welcome direct messages. People are starting to find these annoying so it will be interesting to see how long they will be effective but... basically, you can set up
a message that will be sent to anybody who follows you, automatically... so you can send them a thank you and then a link to your squeeze page. I try and offer free gifts...

These are all great tools! I've been using them for a while, and I also use a paid-for tool called "Tweet Adder", which actually combines the features of those sites into one easy to use interface. So all I do is fire up my PC, turn Tweet Adder on and it automatically tweets for me, as well as automatically follow and unfollow (as well as follow-back!) people I search for within the tool itself and follow.

This doesn't actually go against Twitter policy as they're not bulk actions. Tweet Adder sends a follow/unfollow every 1-60 seconds (you can amend this value) so it's well within their rules.

I've just noticed it sounds like I'm shamelessly plugging this tool lol. Thought I'd share the tool I use and what it's about in case anybody else uses it or has seen it but is put off by the cost (I think its like $47 for a single account license? I bought mine with a discount code so am not sure on the standard price).

Right now I'm still building my Twitter profile, but this has helped me get over 1300 followers in two weeks.

The maximum number of people you can follow or unfollow in one day is 400 (so 400 follows and 400 unfollows) :D

I use twaiter and highly recommend it! You can schedule your tweets in advance. Set them up and then forget about it. I usually change them up every few days. Great tool, highly recommend!!!

Social Oomph is an awesome tool to list build, or to even add friends on facebook. I think it only costs like $3.95 a month
