We're planning to travel to Europe somewhere in November. US dollar seems to be winning against Euro dollar now, would now be a good time to buy euros? Or wait till near our travel time?

Hmm travel you say? In that case I seriously advise you to drop me an email, as I can provide some solid advice how to lower you travel costs and cope with your USD/EUR thing.

I was trying to PM you but it seems you need 25 post here to do so ...

I saw your comment about lowering cost on a Europe trip. I was also traveling to Europe later in the year and am curious if now would be a good time to purchase some spending money or what advice you had to offer.

Thanks in advance

"Euro-Dollars" refer to U.S. Dollars held outside the United States.

The prefix "Euro" means a currency held outside of the issuing country. It originally applied to U.S. Dollars held in bank accounts in Europe, but has since applied to any currency held in any country. If a bank in Mongolia offered back accounts in USD, JPY, and EUR, those deposits would be considered Eurodollars, Euroyen, and Euroeuros.

If the exchange rate is favourable now, I would make the exchange. smile.gif
