Their emails are still coming through.
Has anyone else noticed that?
Am still getting emails about referrals buying Triplers and Cycling their matrices.
Hope that's a good sign and the site will be back to normal before too long.
It's all good and as lillied just said, I'm sure they know exactly what to do about it.

Right, I'm saying the same thing. I don't think it's back up yet, but I'll check the conference room. I haven't been able to get in for a while now. I think they are still working on bringing it back up.

Let us just wait for JBP to be back again. Patience is the key as always. I am pretty sure that the JBP staff are doing their best to restore the website back at soonest time.

To the ones responsible for the DDOS attack: shame on you. I hope karma catches up on you scums a hundred fold.

I would like to know just how these ddos attacks happen.
Who does them and why.
I was under the impression that they are caused by hackers.
And usually because a program is doing well and refused to pay an extortionist.
I could be wrong though.
Can someone explain.

A DDOS attack wouldn't shut them down for weeks. If they are down more than a couple days they are likely making some heavy programming changes.

I do know the site is still working in the background. During the night I received an email that one of my JSS matrices cycled! It will be nice to see the $60 waiting for me when we can get back into the site.

If anyone is attending the web conferences please update us here what the moderators are saying.

Here is a new update that one of my friend received from another JBP page....

"We are under heavy DDOS attack from Korea, and the NOC has shutted down traffic to eliminate the traffic. It will be opened again after the DDOS-attack stops.

DDOS attacks are not uncommon for growing companies. we have good programmers that can stop it. DDOS attacks are targeted at the servers sending million's of hits per second.

We are waiting on the hosting company to solve the issue.

Meanwhile, JBP is still working in the background placing Triplers, cycling matrixes, paying commissions.All emails will still be going out, with the exception of reminders of the scheduled conferences.

No need to change your passwords in your emails, pay processors, etc. All accounts are perfectly safe.

You will receive an email in the next 3-4 hours with an update."

This is just terrible. Every time I decide to go on a advertising blitz something like this happens. Just paused all my paid and non-paid traffic for JSS.

This is not looking good. The site is completely shut down. This shouldn't happen. I don't like the looks of this. Making me reconsider dropping $1000 dollars down after the next restart.

I paused my banner ads too but not worried about the site being down for a day or two. If it drags out to a week or more I would certainly be irritated.

I too got emails that my matrices are filling up.But can't see since cannot login site.I hope this is not an excuse for restart.Them not crediting 2% is not a very good sign.I still hope it recovers soon and maybe they can afford some ddos protection.I would be surprised if they don't.

Hi

I also a bunch of emails this morning about my JSS matrix postions being placed and even delayed emails about some of my referrals that bought more Triplers. So it looks like the site backend admin functions still working but notification messages being delayed due to the attack. This DDOS attacks seems to be targeting most of the stable paying programs. Similar thing happened last week with aDailyCash.com - got hacked and the admins managed to secure the site with more security measures and sorted some username issues etc. Took them a couple days but sorted with new security features implemented for members.

JBP also recently appointed more senior developers, think they have six developers in total now and also got more web servers going. So, any company with this capacity won't let it fall over for long and their hosting company would also take this on as a priority - not wanting to loose such a big client.

Isn't the pattern usually.. 1st the claim of attacks... then the site down .. then we'll take care of it.. payments stop... gotta fix it... be patient.. this is normal... then the complaints/disputes roll in to the payment processors.. then the program blames the hackers.. then they blame the members...

isn't it odd they don't want to pay the 2%?

DDOS attack is a way to send 100 thousand of ping request per mil sec to the server blocking the server port...so when individual try to access the site..their request are not reached to the server port as it is already busy/blocked with ping req..thus ..u get page down error.As soon DDOS stop..site can be access again..

JBP have over 12 server so it is not easy to take them down from single computer and specially if port speed doesn't match with the server port speed..

DDOS attack are usually done by haters or competitor.

Some JBP mods making claims that they are getting DDOS attack from Korea(wonder, how do they know)..I guess they are confused with the IP from which site is getting attack.
If they are getting attack just from some few IP address then it can be easily blocked but if group of computer causing the attack then only Firewall and protection can help them.
By Group of computer ..I mean from the infected computer.

I personally don't think it is just DDOS attack...I guess they are doing some major change/update or a restart...watever it is ..we just got to wait.

There are tons of bots and hackers out there that just do it for kicks. You are trying to pass off speculation as fact, unless you have confirmed data to the contrary. I'm not saying that the speculation is not accurate, but it is speculation.

I think that question has been answered already, and the answer is Carl was doing more administrative works and he's busy with it that is why he was not active in conferences anymore. If not here in forum, you can look at Blondie's blog and its right there. Also you can ask the question directly from the conference room. This forum was really not an official JBP forum so if you just depend here for all your questions then you may end up just clueless.

Patrick, you first fund the JBP's Synergy Surf (JSS) module. Now click on the Triplers section, go to Financial and click on the "Fund JSS Tripler Account" button and transfer funds from JSS to Tripler. Now you can purchase Triplers.

Site can be a navigation pain in the rear but once you get the hang of it, smooth sailing.

I just paid for funding my JSS Account, but AP timed out and now there is no money in my JSS account blink.gif

Will they add this manually?

All of my AP deposits have always showed up immediately in the JSS Financial page. If you have a AP confirmation and the funds are no longer in your AP account then give it a few hours to appear in JBP just in case. If not showing by the morning submit a support ticket.
