We made it to AskJeeves...gotta love when the BOTs come to check us out. Soon MMG will be on every search engine out there.

Moderating is really making my post count high...stop making me work so hard dammit

What does it mean when BOTs check us out? I always see those names at the bottom, like MSNbot, Yahoo, etc.

That means that a BOT (program) has spidered this site and now that info is available at askjeeeves web site. The more search engine BOTS that visit your site the easier it is for people to find your site.

I noticed MMG has a page rank of 2. Lets keep it going higher and higher.....

That pagerank rating is pretty much BS. Pagerank is built when other sites with a higher pagerank link to another site. So in order to build my pagerank, i'd need to contact a lot of other owners of sites witha high pagerank, and ask them to link to MMG.

Yup, I had a site before that acquired a rank of 5, then after a couple of months it went to zero. It is so fickle. I don't bother about it anymore.
