Has anyone used Bpay through e-forexgold to fund their e-gold account?
I have been waiting 48 hour now, and it is still not there. Have emailed them, but as yet no reply.
EFX Gold always takes some time for me but I use bank deposit, plus it's the weekend and I don't think they do anything on Sat or Sun.

I hope you enjoyed your birthday, iZero - oh to be 18 again - and didn't hurt yourself by falling down anywhere.
Cheryl, I read your story of the fog - we haven't had much here in recent times, but it's strange how disorientating it can be. I hate driving in the fog in the country where there's no streetlighting - a road that you know like the back of your hand suddenly turns into a nightmare and takes forever - it is always such a relief to get through a bank of mist.
England has had a lot of rain in the last couple of days, with some flooding in places, Scotland has been OK, but it has been a bit chilly for late spring. I hope all your water tanks are filling up nicely.

I bought the gold on Thursday, and when the transaction went through it said it would be there within 24 hours, that's why I was a bit concerned.
They have answered my email, and told me to expect it Monday.
Thanks for responding. Hope you had a great birthday.

I've used Bpay several times - and it takes 2-3 days regardless of weekend, etc. I started doing it that way because I was told it was as quick as the deposit card - but it isn't!! The deposit card is by far the quickest method.

Hi Pete
My hubby John is English and we always get into a dispute over what we call the footy sports. Growing up we always called league - football or footy, he says football is soccer. As we always called Soccer - Soccer. Rugby is Rubgy League and AFL we called arial ping pong, as I grew up in Sydney and in NSW then we had nothing to really do with AFL which was then called VFL. My first viewing of VFL was a grand final and I decided I liked the colours of the Red and Black, I think it was Essendon, who I decided to barrack for, then later on back in the early 80's I was living in Tassie and a Melbourne team decided to become the Sydney Swans, so I decided to go for them. I am not a die hard fan at all, but would support Sydney Swans then Essendon in a match.
I really do like the colours of Red and White, when I was 17 I was doing nursing, and quite often after doing a late shift, my dad would be up watching TV, and the English Soccer would be on, and Manchester United was Red and White, so have been a fan of theirs for years, So you would then be able to guess that the Red and White colours of footy belong to St George in Sydney, and I have been a fan of theirs since I was 10 and discovered football. So I have followed my Red and White colour scheme ever since. Its ok I am a girl and I don't have to make sense. I am also 50 so making sense isn't really very important any more, I love being
iZero, I hope you had a great night.
Jane
Thank you for displaying such wonderful taste in football club colours. There are only two countries in the world where soccer is known as soccer, Australia, and the U.S. "soccer" is a Bxstardisation of the word Association, apparently the British football Association, toured the world late in the 19th century promoting the game, and the word soccer grew from that.
@Aussiefox, I have just used my e-forexgold card for the first time in ages to buy e-Bullion, I am hoping that the transaction is quick.

Congrats Pete, good to see the rumour mill is right for once
Well I've just come back from O Fortuna, it was quite amazing; there's no comparison between listening on the computer and watching a live orchestra it's one of those things you must do before you die if you haven't already. I was actually thinking during the two hour performance that man's finest achievement is a symphony in full flight - it's truly breath taking. I also went to the chiro today after I've had some x-rays of my back taken and let's just say there's room for improvement. One part that won't be able to be changed is my first and second lumbar vertebrae appears to be fused (strangely he's only seen it in the neck before) which would explain my below average "bridge" position ability, at least for a gymnast. Well that's my lot, hope you all have a good weekend, I've finally landed a job over the uni holidays (long hours but good pay, it should see me through the next semester if I'm careful) and now I really need some sleep.

I know all about the uni student work thing, my daughter currently works 2 jobs, she roped me into a third, delivering magazines. The whole idea was that I needed the exercise, and she needed the money, ultimately I ended up doing it all, just once I might add.
The Winter Westerlies are howling here at the moment, so tonight should be really cold, with clear skies. Those few wet days were welcome with some 45mm of rain falling here, but a lot less over the catchment area, so things have not improved that much.

Well, it feels like ages since I have visited this thread, I have been so busy.
Have finished writing a Management essay this evening... I never want to hear the name Mintzberg again!!!!! Now its done I can give myself a day or two off from studying anyway.
One armed push-ups... ...sounds like torture to me, I can't even do one normal push up......lol
We're on the move again, I find it hard to believe we have almost been here a year.....we are only moving down the road, sounds silly, but we decided to upgrade a bit. The house is lovely, smaller backyard but bigger house. I'm looking forward to it. Myself and the kids will be going away for most of the holidays so I am hoping the weather picks up. It is absolutely wild here, has been all day. My mum and stepfather are on their way back from Queensland, and tonight they are in Lakes Entrance, which just happens to be on flood warnings. They've come back at this time especially so they can go to the footy Friday night, so I hope they don't get stuck there. If they do someone else might have to use their tickets
Well, I am off to bed, it's late.
Cheryl just an update, it's official, they are flooded in and can't leave, they have to stay at least an extra night. They are in a caravan, and Mum said the rain and wind are horrendous and unrelentless, she has never known anything like it.

I have just ordered a new mini laptop so i can go out of the house and not be a nervous wreck that the AUD will move the wrong way in a hurry and take my trading account with it!
It isn't very powerful but is perfect for what i want it for and i got $1,000 off the price as it was a demo and it is being superseded. (The picture above is actually the new version, mine will look the same but is grey.)
It's only the size of a paper back book so i will be able to have it when i do my 2 hours of light duty's at my work each day.(at my real work......He He He...... )

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2007 when...
1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.
6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.
7 Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.
8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.
10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.
11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )
12 You're reading this and nodding and laughing.
13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.
14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.

AND NOW YOU ARE LAUGHING at yourself.

Hey there Dorky,
I am expecting the laptop to be delivered tomorrow and i have had to join with Telstra 3G, they have sent me a usb mobile card (cost me $300...... ) and i am going to start with a 20 hour a month plan which cost $55 so it isn't cheap but i will be able to claim for the laptop and internet as i will be declaring my earnings from my Forex.
As for how my trading is going, i am not going to retire at the end of the month but i am making some money and learning heaps.
They say that the Aussie dollar could go all the way up to 90 cents by the end of the year and if that happens i will be a very happy little vegemite........

PS: Here are the plans for wireless broadband from telstra:
Dorky
Jul 3 2007, 03:26 PM
Yes those are fairly expensive, but I also have the mobile usb... but I managed to get it late last year when it first came out.
I have the 1GB per month but it only costs me $57.47 per month (Half price, but that is for only 12 months) but after that I can move to another plan so I will probably choose a cheaper one. I have only gone over the allowance once, that is expensive! But considering my enhanced income from "you know who" I can afford it, and I am saving a bit for later on. But I don't have telephone charges anymore, as when I got this I got the phone taken off. I can't hear anyone on the darn thing anyway. So that was a saving. But the more popular these things become, the cheaper they will also become.
Great to see you doing OK with your trading. In my next life I might have a go at that sort of thing. Not enough of this life left to learn it properly.
I am ready for the football tonight. Hopefully it will be a whitewash with Queensland winning the third game as well. No drinks for me until half time. Promise. I want to see this one!!

I concur with your latter statement @Pete, and now I'll be off to Wallaville one last time before it goes to auction on the first Tuesday in August which is sad because it's the end of a chapter but business is business and it was dragging the profits of the family company down so it has to go albeit sadly. On another note I went out last night and I actually made money, mainly because I forgot my keycard and Steve conned me into putting a dollar into the Pokies (which wasn't too hard because it was just after I had a shot of Satruse(sp?)) where I won $7, enough to pay for my drink with $0.50 left over . So in my entire pokies career I've gambled $3 and returned $8. I've beaten the system so far so I'm going to leave it there. And if I go out next time and don't dance with a random when I see the chance you all get to slap me

Seems like we're all hibernating or out playing in the snow. I had to stand outside in the sun for 10 minutes like a reptile just so I could feel my fingers again and speaking of which I went back to tumbling. Split lip, busted fingers (which are still badly swollen), skinned shin and a sore back. Who else thinks I'm a bit rusty? I just hope my fingers are better for Saturday (my other tumbling day), we've had a mini population explosion down there going from just 6 or so to 12. I think a few of them were just having a trial lesson but they seemed to enjoy it so they should be back.

I just thought that i would post this update about Pete from Dorky:
Update on Pete.
I received a reply from Mrs. Pete.
She said,It seems that the RRV seems to have been the trigger for other and more serious problems, Pete is a tough old bird, and seldom lets us know if he is ill or not over the past two months he has been far sicker than we have been led to believe. He has a leaking valve in his heart, and this week he is booked in for an angiogram, to check for arterial blockages. He very worried about this procedure. Because Pete has been a smoker, he has needed to get back to a strong enough position, before any thing can be done. He is improving slowly but surely.
This is a very trying time for Pete and his family, and of course I asked that Mrs. Pete let Pete know we were all wishing him well, and not to worry about us and that everything is fine here in the thread. As I have said before we want “Captain Breaker” back healthy. He is in good hands where he is in hospital, getting the treatment he needs.

Just back from summer holiday, so I'm catching up with all the news.
The summer weather in Europe has been weird. England and southern Scandinavia had a lot of rain and flooding, southern Europe had high temperatures and forest fires. I tried to find a happy medium by going up to the north of Norway. There was a bit more rain than usual, but nothing to complain about. I had several nice days when I got up to the Arctic where it is light all night in July. Towards the end of July when the midnight sun is starting to go, you can still get these fantastic sunset skies which last for hours. Now I have to start getting my photos sorted out.
Sorry to see Pete in the hospital , hope he gets well soon, my thoughts are with him.

and what about andrew johns lmao and the excuse was worse so next time you get caught red handed doing some thing stupid and irresponsible you can try the all new "andrew johns" defence so your in court for killing some stranger your defence
"i was just walking along minding my own business this stranger i have never seen before came over gave me a knife and i put it in my pocket i forgot it was even there ,then the next minute im getting charged for murder"
GP'S 1 year old son could come up with a better story

Wishy-washy somehow doesn't really sum it up, as dad said he wouldn't be apologising to anyone who will listen if he was innocent. Not much happening in this corner of the world, I had my 18th a couple of weeks ago (only 2 months late ), I've got this "job" talking to Japanese over the net. I also got a car which will be my brother's too when he learns to drive. It's a '92 Corolla hatch complete with towbar and a bullbar. My tumbling is also getting back to the stage I was at before I busted my collarbone. Hmmm, when I say it like that it sounds like lots has happened. Say happy b'day to son for my GP

Hi GP Sorry I missed this. But happy birthday to your little man. Gee a whole year... yes I remember when you posted his photo on a very popular thread at the time..
Before you know it, he will be driving you down the pub... LOL
