 I`m leaving the winnings at $5, and giving the next clue. Here goes- The person in the title married the drummer in the band. But, the lady in question was never a member of the band. The song goes back about 30 years, but is still popular.

The name of the person was indeed Sara Recor Fleetwood after she married the drummer of Fleetwood Mac - Mick Fleetwood. Stevie Nicks was the female lead vocalist with the group, and was `seeing` Mick, but Mick then started `seeing` Nicks` best friend - Sara Recor, who he eventually married, and later divorced. bigwoo was so close, but didn`t originally give me the writer of the song in the answer. vladb, please PM me with your LR no. or reply here with it.
