VIPdesk is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to sell new accounts for VIPdesk by applying professional sales methodology to include account lead generation, pipeline management, opportunity prospecting, opportunity qualification, proposal development, teaming/strategy, sales presentations, contract negotiation and closing of corporate client contracts for VIPdesk programs and other new products and services as launched.
This sales position plays a vital role in the company’s growth by contributing and closing multi-million dollar deals with Fortune 500 companies. This position is a “hands on” role where the Director of Strategic Accounts is responsible for driving the entire sales process and for meeting or exceeding established quotas and quarterly revenue objectives. The primary responsibility for this position is sales and new business development, with a heavy emphasis on qualified lead generation and opportunity development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Generate and develop new leads from a Dream 100 list and other companies based on established VIPdesk new client criteria;
Meet or exceed quotas and annual revenue objectives;
Work closely with other functions to ensure profitable, successful client implementations;
Apply the VIPdesk professional sales methodology to include forecasting, pipeline management, etc.
Establish contact with key C-level decision makers for target prospects that meet VIPdesk corporate client criteria;
Prepare agendas and presentations;
Deliver presentations on the phone and in person;
Prepare and submit proposals to prospects;
Develop solutions to meet the clients’ needs/requirements;
Document solutions in the VIPdesk SOW framework;
Provide weekly status reports on prospects and contract volume pipeline;
Collaborate with appropriate internal parties to negotiate and close Connect program contracts;
Track all sales activities into salesforce.com database;
Conduct follow up to webinars, tradeshows, etc.;
Provide timely and accurate management reports as requested;
See new accounts through to contract execution.
10+ years senior level sales experience with at least 5 years of experience delivering presentations to Fortune 1000 executives;
Direct experience selling to c-level executives;
Prior experience selling annual seven figure contracts;
In depth knowledge and experience with full range sales lifecycles;
Verifiable track record of over-quota performance success;
Articulate, high-energy, strong communicator, relationship builder and client focused;
Superior negotiation skills;
Bachelor’s degree required;
Highly adaptive, self-motivated, and goal oriented;
Strong sense of urgency, integrity, and honesty;
Highly self motivated to earn for personal and business objectives;
Ability to travel approximately 40% to client and prospect meetings, trade shows, etc.
Excellent computer skills and web/internet savvy;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
High energy, team player.
Ability to successfully pass a credit, criminal, and employment reference background check.
