I just wired some funds to Goldfinger (for the first time) and my account was funded (in 2 days).....and I attempt to transfer some funds to another account and I get a message telling me my account is on hold and I can't withdraw or make transfers and to contact assistance@e-bullion.com for more information....

WTH is going on? 4.gif

Has anyone experienced this before?

PS....This account was created about a month ago and this is the first time I have funded it.

I don't know if this will help much, since I don't have experience with Goldfinger.....But just a few days ago, I heard from a business owner that I know, who told me his Ebullion account (for his business) was hacked, and a large sum was stolen. He further told me that when he contacted Ebullion and asked what happened with their security that he thought was in place, he said Ebullion put the blame back on him for not spending an additional $100 for their extra security package that they sell for their site.....That sounded a bit like having a bank put your money in a simple cookie car w/an easy lift cover, but if you pay them an extra $100, then they will put it in their security vault! hellno.gif

This is from their webpage on basic security for all their accounts, and it does not appear to include their "extra" security package --

---------------------
"The e-Bullion® network was designed and tested by a crack team of the industry's leading security specialists. Our system is aggressively audited and rigorously monitored and is under continuous surveillance to prevent any breaches of security that could compromise your account...."
---------------------

---From that, I assumed Ebullion was very safe to have an account with. I have an account there, but have not used it much. This was very disappointing new to me, since I was hoping to start using my account more. But after hearing about this Hack, and Ebullion's reaction, I probably won't be using it more now.

E-bullion froze my account after I funded it, in order to have me sign an aggreement by fax that I wouldn't use the account for auction services, and some other ridiculous things. My only gripe is, why the heck would you wait until my funds arrive and then place them on a temporary hold with no form of communication other than to contact us by e-mail. furious.gif

Very bad news. As i start to find alternatif e-currency beside e-gold. dry.gif

E-bullion was only trying to verify the account via e-mail (which I feel they should have done before the account was funded blink.gif ) before they allowed me to make transfers.

Thank you,
