Here is what I am wanting to know. Over the past couple of weeks, I have posted a couple of threads that ask some pointed questions within them.

The first is "What can we do to get rid of scammers?"
The second was "I need some help and Ideas." This topic bases primarily around ideas that I have been working on and bringing forward as far as dealing with the first question.

So with that said, I have gotten a number of responses from people on how to get rid of scammers and how to make things more secure in a program so that the scammers can be found out before they hurt anyone.

My ideas and the things that I am trying to eliminate are in the above mentioned posts. I quite frankly am tired of being burned and am even more tired of seeing others get burned when there is no rhyme or reason for it.

I firmly believe that if it is done right, we can eliminate alot of the scams, and programs and admins that get involved in taking our money and stealing it so they can put their kid through college or buy their third sports car. I firmly believe this.

Is any plan 100% foolproof...no way, but if we can ban together as a group and hammer out some ideas and get these programs that I am speaking of moving forward then I think we could be a force that can be reckoned with and I think that we could be the benchmark for better things to come in the online industry.

So if you need to find these other posts and read what I have said and others and then come back here make your comments and take the poll.

Let me answer this before you leave though. If you answer yes, you may need to put some energy into this. This is not something that one person can put together. So if you have talents, if you have something that you can donate to get it going then by all means let us know.

If you answer no or maybe, do not worry about it. Watch and see what happens and then join us later.

I hope this is clear what I am asking for. I think we need help, and I think together we can make something that people will envy.

So Please take a little time out and let me know your thoughts and ideas. And lets get this thing moving!

Best regards!

Only if we could find someone who could be trusted and knew what they were doing. But from what I've seen, that seems to be the two main issues.

Either outright scammers who never had good intentions from the beginning. Or good intentioned adims with terrible admin skills.

Good idea. I am sure that would take care if it. tongue4.gif

Scammers would find a way to fire it back up and get some more unsuspecting victims.

everytime a new site pops up
we do a WHOIS

and then find a MMG member who lives in the same town as the domain registration

Really that could be a way to do it. We have such a group of members all around that we could maybe organize something like that....Interesting thought...maybe I do have to much time on my hands.... blink.gif

With the answers that I have gotten in my PM and on this board, what I am going to do is put together an extensive plan for what needs to be done...those of you that said maybe or yes can request it and we can proceed forward.

While it will not be fool proof, we can probably help some folks.

More ideas, answers and thoughts would still be greatly appreciated!

May be I will support but it will depend on who run the program and how everything works out.

I understand. ANd once I got it all out on paper or in this case in an area where people could see it, I would make it somewhat public to the interested people.

I have many ideas that I do not want to leak, because there are scammers in this forum and I hate to tip my hand to them...they are going to have to learn the hard way dry.gif ...scammers BEWARE!! furious.gif
