I've seen people sell ebooks on how to make money from craigslist but being skeptical I never purchased any. Just curious to know how people actually make money off craigslist. Is it like they put their affiliate link or something or drive traffic to their website? Anyone have any experience and made real money from craigslist?

I advrtise my link and get people visiting my site, opting in and joining.

Great place to run ads.

Yeah, even i want to know this that how people earn from this site. What mlmanswerman said seems to be true as people can also advertise their links on craigslist which help them to generate traffic for their site which means more money.

I have to try to drive opt-ins through CL and traffic to sites including possible ad networks. I can't wait to see the results

I have not started using Craigslist as a traffic source. Do you guys find that a lot of your posts get deleted as spam or do they generally get left up?

Hello fellow MMGs,

Though, i've heard people saying they made $10,000 in 12 days, using craigslist, i've never really used it to sell myself, but, sure it's a good place to build your list, if you have an optin page...

Has, anyone here, used it to make money through affiliate programs?

Let us know...

I try craigslist before, but it is not profitable for me.

I have heard of it for several times, but i never know what actually it is and how does it work. Can you please explain it for me?

craigslist is a good place to be - i can't imagine anyone actually making 10k in 12 days or whatever - but it's a good place to drive traffic if the posts are put up in a relevant place.

Craigslist is a great site , I advertise a capture page that goes to my autoresponder series. Once on my list I can start building more of a relationship with them. Craigslist is a great site to build your list, I also use backpages because thats free.

You can definitely make money on craigslist. If you can make high quality ads people will buy your products. Besides affiliate marketing I am a tennis coach and I have gotten all of my clients off craigslist. You need high quality ads though. You need to better educate yourself with html. The first year I started using craigslist I got a response every 3 days or so. When I made a really high quality ad I literally was getting contacted by atleast 1 person a day.

Like another user stated I run an ad in the business section with a link to my website! I use it to get opt-ins for my Free ebook on creating your own website to make money online!

On a personal note, I've used and my wire and I are currently using craigslist to sell some items we no longer want we've had sitting around the house. We've sold a ton on things that way too!

I recommend giving it a try as it is free! All the best!

Well this is a bit embarrassing, but to be honest, i have never actually been on Craigslist before, however I heard about it a lot. Have to stop forgetting and check it out once and for all. I'd like to see the earning potentials.

You have to be careful using Craigslist because over-posting can lead to both ghosting and flagging. Neither is good for business.

The trick is to sell something cheap and easy to deliver...I have sold this certain ebook(see signature below) like 55 times in the last two weeks. Its only 10 bucks and has tons of crap in it...I bought it myself because I couldn't find any good products to sell online and this thing had some cool stuff in it.

I have known a few people who uses craigslist as one of her way of earning. What she usually do is the "buy and sell" practice. Since there are a lot of people who are into electronics and gadgets in our area, she goes out (mostly online) and finds those gadgets for sale that is cheap and in good condition. If there are a few fixes that can be done she does it and then re sells it at a higher price. I don't know the success rate on it but she always have money so I guess it works for her.

craigslist would be a good place to build a list, you just have to be careful not to get your ads flagged

And that is one of the reason why posters and advertisers should always read the rules and regulations and TOS (terms of services). This is where most advertisers fail on, since they have been on many ad sites, they tend to think that almost everyone is the same but they are not. Reading the rules and guidelines is one way of knowing on how an advertiser can get the most out of the site. If you fail in getting sales from such site as Craigslist, it doesn't mean that it is weak, it might mean that you have failed in something.

I am familiar with craigslist. If you are offering referral marketing how do you get around craigslist's guidelines. thanks.
