I was just wondering what do you guys have in your mind as your final goal or a dream that keeps you motivated? I know for most it's financial freedom... but what would you do once you're free to do anything?

Peter Gibson was right. My main motivation is towards the ultimate goal of sitting down and doing absolutely nothing.

Most definitely it is achievable. That's pretty much what I'm shooting for over the long term as well. I hope to eventually have a few rental properties all over the world so I can live in a new place whenever I like while making money off of the rent. It's a long way away, but I believe it's possible.

Im not sure if I would ever stop even after financial freedom was achieved. Retirement really just sounds boring to me. I've always treated life like a game so it's fun to always create higher goals no matter what. Even if I have to start buying entire islands and building theme parks on them, it's much better than retiring and doing nothing wink.gif

It is never enough. The more you have of something the more you want it. It just never stops!

Thats right. People just want more and more.

My goal is to just make a little cash every month with online surveys (ok, I already do ;-)), refer some new people to increase the income and then, one day achieve financial freedom. But I think I don't want to be a millionaire. Life is so boring if you can afford almost everything anytime. We need some dreams and goals for tomorrow wink.gif

Well, Right now I m working my ass off to create a long term income source that would fetch me a considerable sum when I plan to retire.

For me...I guess I would like to be somewhat of a "secret santa"...all year long. Maybe have some groceries dropped for a family in need. Have someone stand outside a gas station and fill people's tanks. To make someone's day...and to see people SMILE...would be fun for me. dance9bh.gif

My goals have tended to be quite fluid over recent years and change every time I get close to achieving the next milestone.

For example, when I first got into IM, my goal was to become debt free; then it was to give up my day job and work for myself; then I wanted to buy a bigger house; have 'x' amount of money in the bank; buy my dream car, etc, etc, etc.

Financial freedom is fantastic and allows you to do all you dreamt of doing all those years you were working 9-5 for someone else. For me, though, I always need to set new goals to give me something to work towards - the sense of achievement is so much greater.
