Does anybody know the best place to make your own website? I looked around and found that BlueVoda is good for beginners. If anybody has any better places or programs that would be great thanks!

Adobe Dreamweaver is probably the best tool to create your website in for a beginner. You can download a trial from the Adobe website - Adobe

Almost Every free webhost has a website builder and many web 2.0websites are also good like weebly, blogger, wordpress and many others. Free webhost like 110mb, byethost and 150mb also provide cpanel and script installer for wordpress on free hosting.

I recommend Site Build It! It's a self-paced Internet learning course that teaches you everything from the bottom up. It includes everything you need to build a successful ebusiness. Meaning the site builder itself, web hosting, SEO training, community building training, how to get traffic to your site, how to build your site to get free search engine traffic, and all the tools needed to expand your business. All in one place. All explained with help and support. There's nothing out there like it!

100% agree! Nothing compares with SBI! ...And wordpress, komposer, dreamweaver, etc can all be used in conjunction with SBI

Get free templates from sites such as opensourcedesign. and modify it with Kompozer.
Find a good niche market and get domain name. Start building up your content and host it on hosting sites such as Hostgator.

That's the point. It depends on what you want to do. Do you think of creating a static information website or an international community?

Wordpress, Joomla!, Drupal is a good choice for dynamic sites, Adobe DW helps you creating a static html site.

I am too used to using Blogger to change. Besides, its FOC.

No hosting costs, no fees whatsoever.

It lets me earn pure profits as i have no operating costs except for the time spent building my sites.

Listen, if you want to create a nice web-site it depends on many issues. The first issue is the nature of the web-site itself... Which one you wanna make? The second issues is uniqueness of the web-site as well as purpose. If you want to create the one that is totally different than others, it's much better to create it yourself... You can do it by using many turotials.
