Terus terang.. walau sering menyarankan orang lain untuk menganti password secara berkala tapi gue sendiri sejak Mei 2005 sampai sekarang baru 2x mengganti password.

Gue hanya mengganti password jika merasa terancam saat mengunjungi atau mendapat link yang tidak beres yang secara tidak sengaja gue klik.
Saat ini gue hanya mengadakan tindakan preventif dengan scanning berkala dan update AV berkala.

Ada yang tahu kapan dan di mana alternate pasphrase pada E-gold digunakan?
Aku coba saat upgrading membership pada autosurf program kok tidak bisa.
Apa memang harus selalu pakai main pasphrase ya?

yup betul sekali, untuk spend egold (termasuk invest di hyip/autosurf) yg dipakai main passphrase, sedangkan alternate passphrase biasanya digunakan untuk script2 hyip, seperti tampilan besarnya deposit yang dikeluarkan di hyip2. intinya sebagai verifikasi diwebsite oleh si admin.
contoh disuatu hyip admin memasukkan alternate passphrase yg salah, maka member tetap bisa deposit hanya saja yg didepositkan tidak muncul di "your deposit"

Random: Change Your Access Day!

There is a keylogger/trojan, which takes pictures and transmits your keystrokes that is going around, which allows a thief to access one account and then the next one, and the next you set up, because it has taken a picture of your strokes - i.e. the SRK access.

This is not specific to e-gold, the trojan can affect any account, because it is taking a picture of your keystrokes.

So let's all keep our hard earned cash safe. When you see this message in your mail, you know it's change your access day.

Follow the steps below to stay safe from hackers. Do them today!

A: Run your anti virus software!

Tip: If you are serious about "investing" money on the internet as a living, you need to "invest" in a very good virus protection software.

Norton is my favorite, but there are others. If your anti virus is FREE, you're getting what you paid for! Norton has a version that is available to download to your computer so you can get cleaned up immediately. The cost is 56 dollars American, but think of what it can save you.

Run Norton immediately, and clean EVERYTHING it finds! Even if you have to go to the Norton library, and do the cleaning manually, which is to slowly read through the directions for the viruses that the program indicates and follow all instructions.

Set the scheduler to run each morning at say... 5 am, or other time when you should not be using your computer.

Enable the Auto Protect feature, which watches your email and incoming worms, Trojans and keyloggers.

Norton automatically updates it's library of new viruses about once a week, so you stay current against new variations.

B: Run your Anti Spy ware software!

Tip: A very good FREE software product is SPYBOT - available at http://spybot.com alternately, a quick search for "spybot" will turn up several sites to download the product from.

Run the program immediately. Then run it regularly, like every time you start your computer. Many of the trojans and viruses come in ad products which load themselves on your computer without your consent.

Only after you have taken the steps, create a NEW PROFILE on your computer. A new user.

Password protect the new profile.

You will have to enter a password each time you want to log into that user on your computer.

Set the security on that user to the highest available.

This means make sure that this account DOES NOT have system administrator privileges.

The only one who can change the password or other settings for this user will be the system administrator, which should be you. You will not be able to make system changes from inside of this profile, or access other user files. Only your main system profile can make major changes, or set new functions. Log out of the profile that you use to surf and play on the net, and log into the new profile – using the new password you have set.

You have taken the precautions to clean your computer of viruses, and ad-ware. You have also set up a secure environment to transact business with your computer with your new financial profile.

Now, Change Access to your financial accounts:

C: Create an email address just for your financials.

Don't use this account for anything except your financial accounts. No subscriptions, no personal emails, no nothing! Make the name and password difficult to remember, and write them down - immediately before you forget them.

Only access this email account from your new secure profile. Verify that you can successfully send and receive email from the new account.

D: Log into E-Gold from the new profile that you just set up on your computer, and change your email address to the new secure one you just set up -

Verify that you are using the correct email. This is important, as some changes you make will require verifying an email to access your e-gold account again.

E: Change your e-gold pass phrase!

Immediately, write it down someplace safe.

F: Check account "acc-sent" settings!

Set IP change sensitivity to High. Now, when ever another computer tries to access your account, a security pin will be sent to your email for verification before the intruder can log in.

Set browser sensitivity to Detect. When ever a different browser attempts to access your account, a security pin will be sent to your email for verification, before the user can log in.

Be sure to enter the turing code at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Double check to make sure you have written down your changes. You will not be able to sign back in after this change until you receive a new pin in your new email account.

Last measure is to log in again to make sure your changes have been saved.

If you miss a step above, you may have to contact e-gold for your pass phrase, which could take up to a week, so be careful.

Boss... antivirus adware rem macam avgfree, antivir, spybot, ama lime tahan ngga yah ?
soalnya klo spysweeper aja KO, nothing can to say, padahal yg ini setau gw udah diatas rata2 kelasnya....

Sementara trojan itu hanya mengganti setting e-gold kita agar bisa masuk tanpa kena PIN.
Jadi semua setting otomatis berubah ke setting security minimum. Yang harus dilakukan adalah moving dana (dijual atau dititip ke acct temen) dan bersihkan harddisk (clean format). Cara lain adalah ganti password dengan kompie yang bersih (jgn pake kompie ber-virus).

Guy's don't use Antivirus use Deep Freeze it's good for me try it after you format your pc install it and leave Antivirus

coba aja cari dipaman google atau beli aja cdnya. cara kerjanya itu drive kita dibuat image, contoh setelah kita setting kompie kemudian kita image, maka jika ada apa2 tinggal restore image aja, cara kerjanya mirip dengan deepfreeze dan system restore. hanya saja klo system restore file2 masih aja ada yg nyangkut, deepfreeze juga denger2 virus tidak ikut terestore.
