Do you have a lot of parked domain names? If so are you just gonna let them sit -- or do you plan on actually doing something with them? rolleyes.gif I admit I have about 2 or 3 so that's not too excessive. smile.gif I've heard of some people with like to a Hundred or more parked domains. Some may have money plans for them -- some sell them -- and some just let them sit and collect dust -- and some well... who knows?...
I recently decided to monetize one of my parked domains with the new Google Adsense for domain feature. We'll see how it goes... I figure if i can at least make some passive income off of it until (or if) I decide to do something else with it then hey why not!

So what about you...How many of parked domains do you have and what are you r e a l l y gonna sumthin with them? whistling1.gif

I have quite a few parked domains, in excess of 500. Most receive natural type in traffic. They are investments and will eventually be developed or sold, however they make a nice monthly income parked at places like Sedo.com, Namedrive.com and Domainsponsor.com

got about 100 parked domains, but only one third of them are doing well smile.gif

Does the income you currently receive though outweigh the cost of keeping them `parked`?

Wow that's great you're making good income from them! You mention you have some parked in various places.. Have you noticed certain places that's better to park than others? I just have mine parked with the Google Adsense for Domains right now. Is this good or should I move it for better results?

My favorites are Namedrive.com and Sedo.com, but i have them on several others as well.

I've got a dozen at the moment but I don't really plan to accumulate any more.

I was going to use each of the ones I have to sell individual products of my own but I've changed direction and am close to launching a membership site where I can put all of my products in one place.

Happy days biggrin.gif

By parking it at a domain parking company like namedrive.com and sedo.com which shows advertisements on your domain and then you earn money when someone views your domain and click the ads there. I just started using namedrive.com a couple of days ago, but haven't got many views left. To earn much you would need a very good domain name that is either a ex-website that was popular some time ago or a very popular website with a typo in the name. Like googl.com or youtub.com, domains like that would get a pretty good amount of traffic. I bet those websites got parked domains for almost every possible typo. tongue4.gif

Thank you slaxxor. Domains are only $8.00 per year (for a dot com). Do you need to do a lot of work, or market to make money parking the domain?

I can't say I know much about this. I have 4 domains that are sitting around on dead pages. Any reason to pick one service over another? Better rates or better ads?
