Hello everybody, I have decided to discuss this topic because I am interested in a bank account outside my country at the suggestion of my friends because they of where I living a nightmare with respect to taxes, maintenance cards and low interest in accounts, charge for everything! Stepping up to the headquarters of the bank think ... I do not have much experience with banks abroad and would like to know something more about them and what are the most important benefits, such as working with them in the best way in my country, paperwork etc.. I appreciate your input in advance.

You did not mention where you currently live. If it's in the states I'd look into the following countries since most are reasonably close:
Belize
Panama
Nevis
Bermuda
Cayman Islands

There are also a few credit card type companies which do not share every move you make (ie transactions are private like our forefathers intended things to be)

Hello, I am currently residing in South America, Peru and the taxes they charge me the banks are high compared to other countries.
I heard that in Panama and Switzerland set up accounts are rather tedious, because I even asked a lot of documentation I would have to travel to the country to open an account It's true that?

it is not diffucult...but the identity-control must goes via a consulat in your country.
in the other hand: if you travel to germany (i.e.), you can opening a account; is it without problems possible

Davidbutton Well, if you want to have an account abroad so I think it would be advisable that you open an account in an offshore bank, where you can make your banking platform.
It is a good alternative, because there is no need to travel to the country where the offshore bank and I know you get very good benefits.

I already have an account in an offshore bank in New Zealand. I recently opened by the advice of friends around me so far is going very well. But still I would like to hear more of this bank, for example if there are some legal restrictions that may be known and omitted.

Have you found a good offshore bank?

There is a short list of some very good ones in privacy jurisdictions.

But the best way is to open an account through an offshore llc or ibc
for privacy and asset protection.

I would recommend a bank in Switzerland, even though it may take you more time it's worth having an acct there.

Just introduced a client to a Swiss Bank the other day which is a low profile one and
does not have any branches in the U.S. or the other high tax countries. It is a bank
that only has branches in Switzerland. Residents of the following countries may apply
: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,
Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand,
Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the UK.


I deal with about eleven offshore banks and probably the best one for an offshore
company is a very very private bank in Belize but the minimums for that one are on
the higher end of the scale. The others I work with only require minimums of about
$500 to $1000 and I have several very good ones in that list.

Having just gone through an extensive learning curve on offshore banking and private asset protection structures in setting up my own company, what I've come to learn is that when many people ask for the "best offshore bank" they are really looking for a "tax shelter".
