Broker: GallantFX
Account: Standard

had originally had mini account, but broker moved to standard account only so account go upgraded.... this will cause increase risk on trading and higher profits.

Note: For standard accounts I would recommend minimum starting capital of $5000 ... trading .1 lots based on 2% risk with eur/gbp pairs stop loss ... can be adjusted based on other pairs stop loss

For mini accounts ... minimum $300 ....

Well, I have disabled the fapturbo longterm strategy on my live account, had it running on another account and got hit couple of times with stop loss .... will enable it at later date, I don't think this strategy works well in ranging market ... eur/usd been kind of ranging last couple of weeks, when a proper trend is established will enable again.

Note: my longterm was modifed with following TP:30 , SL:70, TS:10 ... because of low stop loss, got hit couple of times,

New version of fapturbo available (v47), only one version now available instead of the 2. Nice features added ... auto gmt offset (taking some notes from megadroid) , also expiration now 2009.9.13 (can finally take vacation without worrying about expiring), eur/gbp stop loss reduced to 35 ...will be adding this to my live account for testing. (note: this account not displayed). will update gallantfx account next week.

Not very persuasive statistic. Does really FAP Turbo has such small profits values? It seems it takes only by the number of trades. Or am I something got wrong?

Fapturbo TP is 6 for all pairs ...
Profit ($ value) is all relative, I can increase risk to get getter profit. Account is up approx. 10% so far for the month. My goal is to get 10-20% monthly with little or no intervention on my part.

As far as fapturbo is concerned i am close to this.

this is also why i have live results for users to see, so you can make that decision and not get persuaded by fancy marketing campaign, or users just trying to make a buck from affiliate marketing.

Account was opened March 20/2009 with $600
As of May 15/2009 balance is $754
That's 25.6% over 2 months. We still need a couple more months of consistency, but this beats any bank.

Note: eur/usd pair is traded by megadroid

If you increase your risk that does not mean you guarantee to increase your profit, it is a double edged sword!

FAPTurbo is kind of meh in my opinion. Might want to check out some other automated EAs.

that's right. That's why i say 'increase risk' and not 'increase lot size' ... don't want to mislead.

Aren't RiskLevel and LotSize connected?

yes, they are directly proportional, however for a newbie if I say lotsize they may not understand that risk will also increase.

I purchased FAPTurbro after checking out their testimonies, and of course with launching my own Forex company I wanted to see if there really was competition out there that could beat the product we have.

I found that FAPTurbro did not live up to what they promoted.

For example: it took me FAR longer than 12 minutes to set it up. (I watched the video of that girl saying she had it up in 12 minutes and was making money that night from her kitchen.....that is total BS)

Then when I tested it and ran the DEMO for about 3 weeks it was yielding maybe 1% a week, and of course that's a DEMO and not live.

I'm sure that I'm not even close to an expert user on the product but I'll just summarize and say that I concur with Globalprofits when he says it's kinda "meh".

The big promoters of this are making more money on "Affiliate" commissions more than actual trades most likely.

have a look at this account: http://jasonnator.mt4live.com/ ... not mine was posted in fapturbo forum ... user running fapturbo and megadroid

....
is fapturbo for beginners ... i would say no
would i recommend fapturbo .... yes
does it require additional customization .... yes
is marketing misleading ... yes

I have not changed by fapturbo settings for over 2 months, i am not making a killing ... but i am making money with no work involved ... lets say it yields 1%/week .... thats 52%/year ...
Now if you can get 52%/year from 1 robot (without doing any work)
Add another robot megadroid ... (lets say you get 2x as much ... 104%/year)
that 156%/year - with fairly reasonable risk.... not taking compounding into consideration

now imagine if you have $100K in an account making 156%/year ... you could set up you own trading lab ... with multiple internet connection, backup power supply .....

you would be able to spend more time with family, volunteer , donate, .....

harness the technology ...

yes, guys do make lots marketing these products ...
fapturbo is a decent product

Totally understand your logic and in normal circumstances I'd be all over it.

I just happen to have access to a platform that's been doing 10%+ per month, and am building a company around it.

Had FAPTurbo done what it's marketing said it could do..........I probably wouldn't be launching my company and I'd be out there doubling my account every 60 days or whatever it is they hype up on their website.

But in all reality man if you are doubling your account each year that's still good.

Most however.....and when I say most I mean about 99% of the people out there getting FAPTurbo do not have 100k to put into an account.
