Which timeframe do you use?

the MegaDroid works on the H1 timeframe.

I know, but I seen some posts where people use M1,M5.

on this site www.forex-robots.com, they have the Megadroid doing quite well, they're having it on the H1 timeframe, so my best adivce will be to stick to that timeframe.

It looks like this is working for you- can you please tell me, briefly, what all is entailed in becoming involved in this program and what sort of money would I need to start trading with?

'bravehoststamps' ,I had monitoring you result of Forex-Megatroid with Forex-robots.com's Forex Megatroid, both of your result totally different, for example, 23 Nov 09 no trade on Forex-robots.com's Forex Megatroid but your Forex-Megatroid have trade.
Please clarify the different between both of this EA as it is from same company which is www.forex-megadroid.com, rite?

Apparently, forex-robots.com are using a different broker than I am. Hence, the difference in the results.

Not only with this product, but with all others as well, it is always better to obtain it directly from its makers rather than from third-party websites.

Why my result is different with Megatroid website?

Because you might be using a different broker.

How do you feel that Megatroid compares to Fap Turbo?

I have tried both, if you want a Forex Robot that trades a lot then FapTurbo is for you, i am sure that if you got your Money Management right and put in the time to fine tune it and get the right broker you would be profitable but call me boring but the fact Forex MegaDroid runs at over 95% Accuracy it's the one for me.

Once you have a few years of trading under your belt you start to understand that if you could stay disciplined and only take the most probable trades that your account will benefit, it's a boring outlook but one that is very profitable.

I want to try some automated trading systems to complement my "manual" strategies. I mean, it looks pretty promising, and I'm not really convinced by these commercial systems.

How's your return (in %) for the megadroid? So the 'black box' only has 5% drawdown?! That's pretty unbelievable.

I'm, from a small town near Echuca which is a couple of hours from the big smoke, i have lived in Melbourne a few times though and two of my three kids were born there.

As for the return in % from Forex MegaDroid trades, it's to hard for me to work out as i have manually traded and run Forex MegaDroid, FapTurbo, Euro Blaster and now Euro Blaster Turbo on my accounts over the last year.



Forex MegaDroid trades at over 95% Accuracy but that has nothing to do with drawdown.

If you run Forex MegaDroid at 20% Risk every trade and it wins it's 9.5 trades and then takes a loss you will be in front but i have seen people get to confident with the Droid and after a few wins they put the risk up to 40% or 50% and then have a loss and there account then went backwards.

So this comes back to basic Money Management which only comes from doing your time trading.

Forex MegaDroid is the only robot that i would ever let trade with 20% risk and only in my small account, in my GoMarket account i only trade 5%.

During last days, I have a profit with MegaDroid near $750. On Mark's Edit: Hijacking this expert also have good results!

Just like you i am still continuing to have very positive results with Forex MegaDroid, today it took 1 trade in my Mini IKO FX account for 6 pips profit and 2 trades in my GoMarkets Standard account for a 6 pip and 10 pip profit gain.

Forex MegaDroid has been around for about 12 months now and has performed very well in most market conditions, very impressive.

After your advice I bought megadroid and am very happy with this decision. I'm up 22% ( had my first loosing trade thursday, lost 7% ) since 8 december.

The only thing that concerns me is the SL. I have risk on 15%, based on my lot size the SL should be 90 pips away from the open price ( in this case I would lose 15% if the 90 pips SL is reached ). Megadroid useally sets the SL between 30-90 pips, but sometimes it takes a big risk and set the SL around 150 pips. What is your thought on this? Do you think it's acceptable for a scalping strategy that only goes for 10-15 pips TP, to set the SL at 150 pips? I often want to manually edit the SL to 90 when I see that megadroid uses a 150 pips SL. But I don't know if this is the right thing to do, since this would also improve the chance that it would hit the SL. Can you give me some advice on this?

I'm glad it's going well for you.

Yes MegaDroid did take a hit the other day when the fed announced a rate increase, MegaDroid isn't a robot that is suited to major news, to volatile.

As for the stop loss, i would stick to what you are comfortable with, as long as you trust your broker and you still leave the trade some breathing room then i think your example with the 15% is great.

As a rule when i trade manually i stick to between 2% to 5% maximum risk loss per trade but i run Forex MegaDroid on 20% at the moment as it is so accurate.

I used PayPal when i purchased Forex MegaDroid and yes you will have to sign up to a Broker that uses the MT4 Platform.
