have been demo trading for abit doing currency trading and made a little money though not totally confident am looking to start trading, anyone know of a broker who can ensure my funds are kept safe and secure in the event goes belly up...

Well Forex trading has an inherent degree of risk. Regardless of the broker you decide to trade with, you will risk losing your initial deposit.

Well actually dannyson ur right that trading has risks but the risks are only to do with the p/l ... not all but some brokers offer protection where the initial funds are totally seperate.. i.e. if company goes belly up the funds are protected.. well thats cause the hold funds in segregated accounts...
This way client funds are held in totally seperate accounts and not mixed with the companys funds/assets.. only a few brokers offer this though so choose wisely jt28....if u r in the market looking for a broker with Segregated funds try WSD-NZ.com... they hold client funds in such segregated trust accounts. good luck tradin!!
