Hi guys, well i have been searching to make money online for three years, but its when i m making app. $1500/m as the best way to earn online is to build a website or more and put Ads on it (Adsense) and then use your brain a bit to reach that level, you can always check my website in profile to know !!!!

I'm new here too. I am thinking about that route as well. I'm a student working on my marketing degree. I am also a webmistress, I haven't created a site to make money for myself yet.
Adsense seems like one way to go if you know how to build web pages. What my biggest hangup is content for my website? The design is easy. Its the content that will bring them so they click on my ads and content is where I am still baffled. I need to find a theme. Alot of people are scamming. I want something that will last with little effort.
It is alot of work to scam someone it seems like.
If you build it, they will come. I'll find it and git it done one day soon.

I think if you are looking for a White Hat way of making money online than making a website and promoting it and adding adsense is a nice way to earn some money online. Just make sure you promote your site as much as you can. Article submission is a good way to promote your site along with creating free blogs. Auto blogging is a good way as well. Just make sure you link all your auto blogs to your one main website and you should be golden!

Website promotion is one thing.......But end of the day, your website must have substance......good content to get people to visit....

Otherwise, no amount of promotion will help to sustain that traffic...

I am curious. Exactly how do you make $1500/ month with adsense?
My site has great content, I have several other adsense outlets, and I am lucky to break $100 every 3-4 months.
(Not complaining, its not my main focus anyway. Just extra income.)
What tells me that this is an effective method, is proof! Screen shots, anything that says. YES, here is proof I am making this money.

Without that, your just another person claiming riches you don't have.

(Pardon me, I have a bad habit of calling people out on money claims.)

Here here! And I think this is a valuable lesson to all who are actively promoting a method by claiming they are earning X amount. Proof!

Best and safest way to earn money:

Depends on you, what you want to do, and how much you want to get your hands dirty.

There are survey sites you can register with and you get paid (or get vouchers) for answering questions. No need for a website, no need to learn about marketing or search engine optimization, and no need to write articles and blogs. But maybe you won't get much money. And by the way, you shouldn't have to pay to register with a survey company. Though you can buy products that give you tips on where to find these surveys and tips on filling them out.

If you just enjoy writing a blog about anything, and you end up developing quite a following then just add some adsense - you're bound to get the odd hit. And you're writing that blog anyway.

If you really want to get into making money, either develop your own product to sell online (ebook, mp3, etc.) or you can promote other products as an affiliate and receive commission. To promote your products you don't have to spend money - just write blogs with related content, or write relevant articles, or even go to forums and offer advice. There are plenty of products available to assist you with these steps and even finding those niches if you're stuck for ideas.

In fact, you can find a lot of this information for free on the internet. As long as you've got the time and you know what you're looking for. (And it's amazing how much you find out by accident!)

making your own site and earning from it is a good of making money online.there are many other method of earning money from your site other then ad sense.ad sense is also good.you can turn your visitors into cash by many methods.

I think affiliate programs generate much more revenue than adsense....

I have my idea for my first website all set up just need to go that extra step of making it now .

Do yourself a favor and don't just count on adsense or affiliates to make you money....use them both. Make your moneymaker site use WH tactics to promote it, make 10( many people make 100s of them) or more autoblogs and CAREFULLY use BH tactics to promote them...link wheel and build your backlinks and you should find yourself with sable income.

When building a website its important to consider things like blogs, auto responders, video inserts, etc. I just made my first website and found the tools and learning academy at GVO to be really useful... in fact I probably couldn't have done it without them. It was also really good to have all the tools, hosting etc in one place.

Yes, there's software out there that automatically creates blogs and periodically feeds content to each blog, however, if not done correctly, the blog looks very spammy and doesn't amount to much as far as income.

This is really important.

There are so many opportunities, and with most, you will need to work hard to make it a success (with some notable exceptions - there are programs that involve investment, and are set up to do all the work for you!)

...but with most, there's a very steep learning curve and if you don't enjoy what you're doing, and if it doesn't fit your characteristics and your knowledge and strengths, then other people doing the same thing will be better, and you're much less likely to make a success of it.

So I don't think there is a 'best' - there's just what works for you. If it makes sense for you, if it feels right for you, then it's worth looking at.

And starting out with a new business or program, it's important to challenge your ideas too. It has to feel right, but it has to have the potential too.

So once you have what you think is the project for you, challenge it. Ask yourself what could stop it working. What stumbling blocks you might come up against.

Answering those questions can turn a good idea into a great idea!

I think the most important thing is to find a really niche market to start with. Look out for really good one that not having too many competitor. In the net, you cannot compete with well establish sites that have thousand of links. So, identify your niche market and build from there. Write good content and start promoting with articles submission.

If you want to have a good start... start by learning wordpress ..its a blogging platform and once mastered, you could create many many blogs and host it by yourself... it takes juz afew minutes to install one and u can have many many free plug ins... i use one that enable my autoblogs and it post relevant contents by grabbing stories and articles from the web... scale it up and u are afew hundreds in adsense money like me...

I've read that autoblogs built on feeds are not good in terms of search engine rankings; something about duplicate content and that you should mix it up with your own unique content so that Google doesn't sandbox your site or something. Anyone heard of that and has something to say about it? Is that true? Because I had considered some time ago to do get into autoblogging based on feeds. Anyone have any input would be appreciated.

With good niche and constantly updatet content you cannot go wrong. But many are backing down in the beginning when they see few dollars a month from adsense and are removing the ads completly without waiting for traffic to come and start earning more.

Wow, It appears that alot of you guys want to make a go at starting an online business but don't really have a plan, That is really the key
I see a lot of people that have hinted at that but if you are new and have no idea where to start then vague advice won't help much.

There are plenty of people who are successful now that were in the same situation as most of you when they first started. But they did not give
up and continued to learn what did and did not work for them.

Just building a website and putting adsense on it will not generate you enough income to buy a glass of water,let alone retire on.
However if you know how to optimize that website and research your target market to drive traffic to the site, then adsense can be a cash cow.

But it takes alot of work, and really wouldn't be advisable as a first site if you are looking to generate a decent income, because for adsense
to work your visitors must be interested enough in the ad to click on it.

So if someone goes to a site looking to buy say, baseball cards, but your site is about oh car steroes, and since adsense generates their ads
based on your websites content, then its doubtful they will click anything, leave the page and no sale.

I think the best way for anyone to get started earning online, Is to build there first site around your interest and hobbies, Everyone can do something unique, and with the wide range of the internet anything can become a business.

Too many people first just sign up for any ole program, MLM, etc, without first researching the market to see how competitive it is, only then can you position yourselves in front of people that want what you are selling.

I can sum it up in seven steps. but even that would take alot more time than i am willing to commit to typing, because im getting TIRED now.
But basically get you a plan similiar to this one here:

1:Identify what you want to do-
write down your interests,hobbies,etc. make a list and go over that list and pick 1 idea to persue.

2: Identify an easily targeted Niche based on that idea.
This is the step that is overlooked and why 90% of businesses online FAILLLL.
Let me give a definitiion of a Niche in case some do not know.
Niche market= finding a specific targeted group of people who are looking for a solution to a problem, but not
finding any relevant results.

OH BUT YOU WILL PROVIDE THOSE RESULTS! (sorry, got excited)

3: Identify what you are going to sell

4:Write your Sales page and promotion., It should be compelling and have a Call to Action.

5:Get you a unique domain name, and it should have your main keywords in it(another topic all together)

6: Design a Website, Now you start actually building a site around this targeted Niche.

7:Set up a payment system and get ready to take orders,

8: Now here is where you need to start getting traffic to your website this should be targeted and there is even a whole
discussion that can be done on that alone,

As you can see i got Lazy and didn't write out all the steps because I am getting tired and this is really something i do not usually
do , I just really wanted to help and hope that maybe one person sees the big picture.

Now by no means is this the only way, but it has worked for millions that now have there own business, and it is an ass-pocket full of work, research,etc. But shoot, you are doing it all at a Desk, on your OWN time, No one telling you what to do or not appreciating how hard you ARE working.

Now Affilate marketing can be very easy because all the website work and products are done for you. But you still have to research and
find a market for people that are looking for what you are selling. You do that by Keyword research, using programs Like wordtracker or even googles external keyword too.

I couldn't agree more! You're right on track with the correct understanding of what it takes to be a successful online marketer. But, don't forget e-mail marketing. Even Amazon.com goes to great lengths to build an "opt-in e-mail list" in which they earn millions with. And You can do the same... and a lot easier than you think.
