There seems to be quite a few HYIP programs and a few autosurfs at the moment that are Net IBA certified, The whole concept of this seems a good one and should fill me with a lot of confidence in investing in the programs that have been certified.

Should i feel more confident in parting with my hard earned money to someone i don't know just because they are Net IBA certified? after all Net IBA have all the personnal documents of these Admins and know where they live because they have verified this, right?

Does anybody know much about Net IBA and whether these measures are a good thing or make no difference. I just want to get some viewpoints on this, to see what you all at MMG think.

They're the one currently certifying Stormpay members...or something like that.

It is stormpay's new verification system. Interestingly enough, They are owned by the same people. How's that for independent verification?

Think you have to pay them to get certified too so they rob you on fees and certification.

Yeah its like $10 for a year and all they do is call you on your phone and mail you a code you type in at their website. Talk about profit margin.

Doesn't mean a thing to me when evaluating a program. Any program owner can be a member - so what is it for anyway - a money maker?

Well, maybe it gives you some details of the real person behind it.

All it means is they have a address and phone number that can be reached by stormpay. It doesnt mean it is current or really their own.

Oh yes, that is ture. Could just be stolen or frudulent IDs or phone numbers.

So it seems that being Net IBA certified means censored2.gif all.

Maybe there should be some sort of an independant system in place that is a lot more rigourous with their verification.

We sure need it right now.

That's what Netiba is supposed to be.

There's no such thing as "independent" as any of these ventures will be looking to make a profit. Every business looks after its own interest including Stormpay and Netiba. I personally think is a great business model but provides little or nothing to let ponzi players know that the admin of any given program is not a scammer. It just adds another layer of hassle that the scammer will go through if he wants to scam.
