you have to do some linking with your lens like blogging and writing articles that links to your lens and also submit it to some rss sites directory.

Don't forget to create lenses around popular keywords, use proper tags and include a variety of modules. It also helps to drive traffic to Squidoo from other sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Blogs.

I have always used Squidoo mainly for back links. However, I do put some affiliate links on them as well with tracking IDs and occasionally get sales.

When I have time, I will join groups and do a squidcast or two - but I find the amount of money that Squidoo pays is not really worth the extra time spent. I usually make more from affiliate sales to be honest.

You know, squidoo itself guides users on how they can make the best lenses. They have this guidelines that they can follow (specially for beginners) when creating their lenses. I always find it very helpful that you would follow whatever their guidelines are and always follow rules. Of course, what's most important is the content you write on those lenses.

Cool Kobamod. thanks for that. I guess it is just my filter working against it. Anyways, I was able to search for some new squidoo lenses earlier using another PC and I just noticed that there are a lot of squidoo out there with not so good content. What I would just like to say is that we should never create squidoo lenses with copied or spinned article. It wouldn't really look that right and if you have your brand in the content, people might think that you have a bad site/brand.
