[*]Excellent list...but I would say you don't have to live below your means neither above your means.
[*]Always know your place and be responsible in your expenses (spendings).
[*]Use credit card only if you are planning to pay it off immediately (don't incur / carry over balance only to pay hefty interest to cc company).
[*]Use other people's money to make money.
[*]Finally create wealth like the wealthy, do it in your 'free-time'!

Just saving money would never make you rich.
My parents have always told me that I must be well educated to earn more money. They were right. I always prefered to buy useful books instead of expensive clothes, for example. I finished university and this was great! Good education is a key to wealth!

People, you should earn more money instead of trying to cut your expenses and save small money.

I got a question for you dude. Yoy really did get good univerisity education, can you tell me but please try to be ownest, how much money do you make each month?

I agree; saving money alone will never make you rich. You need to invest into something. To make your money grow you will need some investments, it could be cash, bond or trading.
gjohnson85
That's right! Don't use credit cards and live only below your means. If you want to be debt-free, follow these two important reminders.

Every body find really hard to manage money. I would like to suggest "Do time to time planning according your budget available" and spend wisely.
francessca
Evaluate the income and do not go beyond it and set a certain amount for savings. Expenses should be the difference between income and savings.
BNekket
What this all really sums up is that you need a budget plan. A budget isn't necessarily a get rich quick scheme, but you'd be surprised at the amount of money that you'll be able to save up every month.

Now something to help you get rich would be to use the money you save up every month and put it in to a stable mutual fund or putting it into another form of business. You can even buy a house and put it up for rent. These things are not out of reach, all you have to remember is that you need security while you spend. So security first, spend later.

You need to choose appropriate investments and long term. I think that investment in real estate is a good option. Study the market and implement a savings strategy is the best tool in these times of crisis.
pattibox
In recent years has increased investment in Spain, particularly real estate investments. This investment option is in the eye area as other Europeans to invest in a second home. Especially in English and German, and mainly on islands and coastal areas like the Costa del Sol
Also invest their money in the long term accounts in different banks...

2 things to get rich.
1- earn more than what you're earning now, either with a better-paying job or another part-time job.
2 - spend less.

I think that your tips do not guarantee a formula to become rich but this is an effective way to improve the economy staff.
I know it's a little proud to think that there is a formula to become rich quickly, but I thought some idea of investment. Any other idea?

1)DO NOT USE CREDIT CARDS UNLESS YOU PAY IT OFF IMMEDIATELY

2)Invest on investment vehicles that will bring you a monthly passive cashflow (i.e. Real Estate).

3)Do not waste money on unnecessary depreciating items (i.e. $100 Sneakers, $2,500 Plasma Screen T.V.s, $3,000 Stereo Systems, $500 Rims, $250,000 Cars, ect.).

4)Always have an investment back-up plan (i.e. Stocks, Bond, Mutual Funds, ect.).

Don't borrow money if not necessary.. And try to manage your credit cards wisely..
slims999
Yep, have a budget and have a positive mindset about saving money and living BELOW your means. I fully agree!
brada7x
A lot of good points have been made here.

1. Budget yourself

2. Save Money - Regardless of apparent unresearched opinions listed here, you can become wealthy by saving money. Just $2000 a year put into an investment with an annual return of %8-%9 can leave you with a wad of cash in the long run.

3. Follow the finance golden rule - SPEND LESS THAN YOU EARN (as simple as this sounds, many people struggle with the concept)

I blog about personal finance and saving. I thrive on these rules. Trust me and follow them!

3. make a spend after you save.

The other small way but in along run prove worth it, always saves little cents you have from the shops, over time you will find that whatever started to be 1cent doubles to many dollars

You'll be even richer if you invest some of your savings in the stock market.

But invest in financial intelligence first before putting your hard earned money into the stock market ;-)

Get Rich By Saving Money??????

It's possible....yes...

in my opinion you can get rich by saving money only if you work hardly and invest part of your mounthly income in different seroius companies.

this is my personal point of view!!!
kgloh23
Save for your emergency fund and invest the balance of your spare money. Also plan to save and invest first then only spend money. In this way it will help you to cut some unnecessary item. Of course you need to budget your spending and don't over save or invest the money, otherwise suffer yourself!

We must not be tempted by images placed by the advertisers otherwise we will land up in buying those things which we cannot afford. I have learned to overcome all my spending disorder and it really helped me to save more.
