We, the MMG community, would like to send a donation of money to a charity.

Members have suggested several worthy charities in another thread and they've been listed in a poll.

Please vote for your favorite charity.

We will donate $1 for EVERY upgraded membership to any level of Supporter made between now and the end of December.

At the beginning of January we will send the donation to whichever charity has been decided upon by you, our members.

Last week we had one upgrade to Supporter, so we now have a running total of $9 from our $1 per each upgrades, plus of course, the monies donated directly to the Charity Account by members.

Speaking of kids... I wish the place I work for
could get on the list - DreamTree Project, in
Taos, NM. It's not a big national or international
charity like the ones on the list, but we do serve
an average of 21 homeless and abused youth
per year, ages 16-24, and give them a place to
live and training in life skills so they can go on
to live independently. We're really struggling
to stay open these days, as we're dependent
on grants and donations... if anyone wants to
give a Christmas donation in someone's name,
or just from yourself, that would be a blessing!
