I agree with this! I think it's VERY good for the members to get involved. I guess my only thing is I'd like to see the transition to the new PP take a little time.


Please don't call us kids. We are actually acting like adults with some legitimate concerns. No one is trying to attack Terra or belittle her plans. Some of us just had some concerns. Change is good...but change with the input of some of the members is even better. I haven't seen one person in here not bring up a good point about a PP. I personaly like the plan for a self-sufficient, self-sustaining payment processor. I agree that, of the current choices in payment processors, egold is the best. However, let's not lose site of the fact that they are not without risks and vulnerabilities themselves.

Perhaps I enjoy a certain advantage in saying this because I have known Terra and Stormysurf since its very beginning (member #99 of the original auto surf site, and canadaprofits.com), and have never known her to do or say anything that wasn't for the good of Stormysurf and its members. I whole-heartedly trust and never question her decisions. If that's blind faith then so be it.....I'm blind as a bat.

I personally would prefer not to see comparisons of Stormysurf and the new PP to Studiotraffic and Studiopay. Having first-hand knowledge of both groups, I can say emphatically that they are like night and day.

While I believe strongly in the right of people to voice their concerns and reservations here, and it's my hope that we don't lose investors over this matter, I also don't want to see or hear anything that would blemish the great name of Stormysurf.

Call me a cheerleader if if you like, but I can assure you I don't look good in a cheerleader outfit.

Emind, sincerely sorry if my post offended you. I truly meant it in good humor. I actually had not read any of the posts in here except for the last page. I didn't even know what was going on, when I had logged on I had gone into the Talkgold thread to see if someone had responded to a post I had made in there yesterday and they were posting like it was the end of Stormysurf. So I actually just got the tailend of what people were saying. I immediately came in here to see what everyone was saying and how they were feeling. I wanted to post something directed at Ninong because we are at different parts of the world and he is usually getting off right before I get on and it was my way of trying to be humorous about a situation that seems to be very tense and stressful and also a way to say hey to Ninong before he gets off the thread. You have read enough of my posts to know that I am neither mean spirited nor do I try to be disrepectful to anyone in this thread. The people in this thread are people that I have come to care about and look forward to reading what they have to say. So again I do sincerely apologize if you found my post offensive as it definately was not intended to be so.

Thank you for the explanation. Although, my understanding is that everyone was concerned about the PPs because they are located or have an office in the US which put them under US gov't scrutiny. Terra's will be in Canada on a Native Canadian reserve. I also know that if the US gov't wanted to shut down or limit Alertpay, they could. Even though their main office is in Canada. The Canadian gov't would work with the US gov't if something was illegal. BUT, the PP that Terra is starting is on a reserve, neither gov't can touch it. It will be the first PP started that (IMO) will be completely untouchable by gov'ts . Therefore, I will give Terra 100% of my support in this endeavor. So, if you live in the US and you are trying to talk Terra out of it for those reasons, don't worry. If you don't live in the US, you have nothing to worry about anyway. At least as far as I know. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

It's my pleasure to announce that I got paid..... I got paid 1 day early..... and I reinvested every cent of it plus some.

I share many of your same concerns, emind, and I have to say I really like the idea of an exchanger as well. Honestly, I thought we had more time, as Terra said it would take quite a while to get everything worked out to open the new PP. Yet, it seems to have happened much more quickly than anticipated. Unfortunately, I find this alone a bit worrisome.

I don't think anyone doubts Terra's sincerity or biz sense, however, there are valid concerns with starting a new PP, that I, for one, am glad we are discussing here. And in that light, no one should be asked to leave by other members or told they are being untrusting, silly, defamatory, or paranoid just because they have valid concerns and are asking questions!

Personally, I thought the whole idea of starting a PP was because there was a need for an additional payment/funding option, as AP was about to be chucked due to fear it would go the way of the dinosaur....errr EMO. Now wasn't/isn't one problem with AP the fact that even though they are based outside the US, they are not licensed to deal with each State in the US? And in dealing with each state, we see how well that went for EMO and TX...

It seems with funding allowed to the new processor from EG and AP, that basically we are just adding another step in-between getting paid? And as emind stated, PPs are NOT looked too highly upon these days. I myself have been burned by SP, EMO, ST, and ASM and although I opened an AP acct, after EMO, I nixed the whole AP idea and never funded nor verified.

I am not so much worried about the new PP funding eGold, as we have seen Terra is really on the ball, but manpower could become a real issue. Moreover, CC funding is problematic in ALL sorts of ways: chargebacks and CC fraud are the especially big ones that come to mind. DivineGoldExchange had to increase their 72 hr processing to 5-7 days due to ppl using stolen CC info. Unfortunately, attempted CC fraud WILL happen with anyone accepting CC's.

Additionally, having to get verified on yet another new processor and thereby risk my identity being stolen is a bit worrisome for me as well, as I am sure it is for many others. Everyone always talks about eGold accts being hacked (which wouldn't happen if ppl took the time to familiarize themselves with the proper safeguards), but what happens when PP's (who have ALL your info!) get hacked (didn't this happen with ST?)

Granted, we have been told there are advantages to having your own pp, but I am not sure they even out the disadvantages. Of course, I am not privy to the inside workings either.

Honestly, I would much rather us keep eGold on as well as the new PP. I like having more than ONLY one option. If nothing else, then a phasing out of AP/EG should, in my opinion be done over a larger amount of time (say 5-6 months). In this way, it would feel less like I am being held captive as a PP customer—Use our PP or you can't stay with SSS!--and feel more like my autonomy is being respected--We are so confident you are gonna love our PP, we will give you time to check it out and still make money with our program at the same time! This would definitely instill more faith in an already GREAT program (SSS) and help build up trust in a new PP, during a time when PP's are not trusted by the majority in the least.

I just want to make it clear that I have a lot of confidence in Terra, and I am sure she will do everything to the best of her ability. My concerns are not because I am simply scared of change, as some would suggest, but I am hesitant of a new PP. Terra could change the days, amounts, percentages, website, whatever, but in these times, with so many PP's going down the tubes, and for so many different reasons, it is hard to know in advance what problems she will come up against (and she will face some problems, as every new biz does) and harder still to prepare against what is unknown. Terra, I know that you will give it your all, and that is the best I can hope for, and I do wish you ands all of us members the best in this new venture, but I do hope that you will continue to consider seriously your members concerns.

Personally my feeling is that it is natural for all of us to want to resist changes in our lives, and yet, change is inevitable.

I think a lot of us have gotten somewhat spoiled here with the way things have been running with the early payouts etc. and we are now starting to feel a sense of fear that something or someone will come along and interfer with that. That's human nature, especially since most of us have gotten burned in so many different ways.

But the bottom line is, we can either resist change or embrace it. I for one feel that Terra is trying to the best of her ability to protect each and every one of us and our money. I think also, that we have to be honest here and realise that as with any new venture, There will be problems to be worked out as she and we grow. Nothing in life is perfect, especially at the start. The question is, how are we as adults going to respond to the challenges that come up? Are we going to run around like chicken little screaming the sky is falling....the sky is falling, or are we going to show Terra the same kindness and love she has shown us by being patient and working with her through some of the difficulties? As mature adults we have a choice in how we are going to respond.

I for one, choose to embrace this change, and urge all of you to give her a month or two to get the bugs worked out. I think in the long run this is truely going to be a major blessing for all of us.

As stated earlier, people need to chill.

Everyone who is involved with SSS need to understand that #1 it is Terra's business, however, it could not succeed without those who buy shares. So those who buy shares have a right to ask questions, that neither Terra nor any other member take offense to. Change is scary and cause concern, especially when there is money involved. So sit back and read, and if you see a post that bothers you, re-read it and see if its isn't so much the words in the post, but the tone that is bother you. Sometimes things can be worded a different way, so that a person may not feel they are being challenged. I know I personally read a couple that at first, I was like WTF. But going back, and re-reading, I felt I had a better understanding of the post and the questions asked.

For the ones who appear from their post seem to think that no one should question Terra is absolutely 100% wrong. I am new to SSS (Since March 25th). Before I made a decision to join I went back and read from about page 85 up to about page 270 or so. I notice that before Terra does anything she puts a lot of thought into it and the other thing I noticed is that she listens to the members of her business. Questions are good, they make people think and possible ask other questions. Some of these questions may be something that was overlooked and never thought about. I know that before I make a decision I try to weigh the pros and cons and even play devil's advocate against myself. I will also seek advice from others who I think may be knowledable. It has been stated that Terra has had her attorneys look over SSS program and operating in Canada. Something tells me she has probably done the same thing with the new PP. I don't feel that she would haphazzardly put herself or her businesses at risk. But she is human, so maybe those who have questioned the PP have in turn helped her.

Also, before jumping to conclusions that there are problems with the site, keep read up. Just because you may step into this thread and see something that raises suspicion, don't stop. Go back and see what caused the post to be written. As I stated above, from March 25 to present, I've read every post of every page. I'm sure there are others who have read all the way since page one. It is okay to ask for help, but try helping yourself, you might find something interesting in previous posts.

Something else that I think needs to be addressed is putting rumors to rest. I think it was JustDoIt who stated that the thread at TalkGold is reading like the sky is falling over at SSS. SSS doesn't need crap like that and we as member's should be a stop to it. Will we be able to stop every negative posts, no, but we should be able to stop most.

So in general everyone needs to:
1. Chill out
2. Ask questions and make logical recommendations, but try to not make your post be confrontational.
3. Don't rely on reading one page to catch up on this thread, it will take a lot more.
6. Put an end to negative posts.
