It's not over for 12DP yet.......those of us who made money in 12DP might be getting ordered to pay something back....it will take a couple years though.

Doing the lawsuit thing might be good in the short term, but the more lawsuits there are the more the government will be getting involved. Some programs have a referral system, if you are referring people to a program for a percentage, are you then a active PROMOTER of the site , like the owner ? The authorities might look down on the people who have 100 people in their downlines as well, and since they have all the 12DP info, they know who are the big marketers.

Nothinggirl says no need to spoil the fun. Obvious some people are not having too much fun gambling their money. The lawyers are the only ones who will have fun, they are licking their wolf chops at all the sites, but those who lost don't care anymore if the lawyers get alot and they even get a little losses back.

Actually I was being a little more general about the 12dp situation. It would be far too impractical for the government to wipe out every single ponzi going... we know there's thousands of them out there... but it certainly wouldn't be hard for the government to clamp down and put pressure on the processors who serve as the income exchangers, but luckily the government had more things on their hands, like chasing made up terrorists and gearing towards martial law... but that's a whole different story

Don't know if you're right about the upliners... I honestly can't see them getting into much trouble if charis herself, the chief upliner, got off with a slap of the wrist, but I'm not worried because I had none anyway.

Also, private lawyers are not the government, even though they can
get the government involved, usually only if it’s beneficial to achieving
success in a case. I am against bringing the government in on any case
unless it’s absolutely necessary, because in most cases you can forget
about recovering funds if that’s the remedy you’re seeking. The gov’t
appoints trustees, who hire accountants and set up trustee boards. Once
everyone is fed on the gravy train, you’ll be lucky to receive 10cents
on the dollar (that’s USD of course).

Nothinggirl: No one wants to spoil the fun, but a little deterrence against

Some people do start witch hunts as soon as a problem comes up. I think she was honest until the ponzi went bust then above happened. If someone made death threats to me I would be outta there. She did give surfposter $60000 and according to some she did make several refunds after it crashed. I think she was broke and panicked with all the stuff above. It is interesting to see what will happen. If the lawyers can't get anything, then we know the ponzi was bust and there was no money left. If the lawyers get a hummer, a corvette and a mansion in cancun then we know who the crook is.

Well, I guess if you want to be paid you have to give your mailing address. That is not too much to ask unless someone has something to hide. There will be no processor. Maybe it was really in the works, maybe not, but the site is finished, why would they start one now ? Maybe they are indians, there is alot of them. There was never a processor, but maybe they were thinking of starting one.

By the way, Surfproster got $60,000 US funds and said he was going to refund all his friends , but I doubt that happened. Also $10,000 went out thru westren union, and the rest got lost to the exchangers, then everything was broke. A family plan has been put together and it will all be looked after over the next 4-5 months.

We don't have much to lose at this point. I believe that they are under the gun ~ if they do this and it settles the masses, then they probably lessen or make completely go away the criminal problem. The timing also seems as though they are aware of the possible civil action by the attorneys, which would be much more aggressive. Timing is too coincidental for me.
However, either way, this wrong is made somewhat right ~ good enough for me! Her latest date
coincides pretty well with my next contact with the attorney, so we won't really lose any time anyway!

Well, you have no choice but to give your address if you want a refund. Are you running a site enlightenedmind and are trying to hide ? No ones knows for sure if there was a processor in the works or not , but who cares ? Just cause someone says they are thinking of opening a processor, doesn't mean I go and put a bunch of money in it. I don't think most members care about the processor, they care about getting something back. There is no way for us to know if a processor was in the works or not, so there is no proof of lying about that......now for payouts, I guess we will see in the next couple weeks.

Which failed miserably I must add and made me realize ALOT of things about Autosurfs, etc. I think it may have been quite possible Terra ran out of money to be honest. Nevertheless it was not at all amusing that we did indeed think a processor was in the works. I'm not afraid to admit I was half dumb enough to believe it myself. FURTHERMORE, half dumb enough to run a site myself.
