Just wondering, where do you guys look for sites forsale? Are there certain authoritative sites where most website sales take place?

There are many sites out there that you can purchase other sites from, one of my favorites is www.sitepoint.com It's basically a auction site for flipping websites. Very decent in my opinion.

Cheers

Definitely not a problem at all. I've just recently started selling my work on some of these sites and in the end it has paid off dramatically. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Sitepoint / Digitalpoint are where most listings are made.
Uncle Awesome
I've noticed that Digital Point has a lot of scammers and crooks, whereas Sitepoint seems to have a more professional atmosphere. At least when it comes to link sales and such. Just be careful, and always use Escrow.com on large transactions.
bluecyberman
Personally, I don't think it's worth the time to sell in DP. A better place is still sitepoint. However, SP don't allow you to sell adult related websites. just my 2cent.

Dnforum.com, SitePoint.com, NamePros.com

On large transaction use moniker escrow ..not escrow.com they have to many fees.
widesources
parked.com would be also a great choice to buy sites
Richy
Also namedrive.com if you are looking for lost traffic websites.
apu_ri81
thanks for the information guys,
Its very useful for me.
Uncle Awesome
Parked, Sedo, Namedrive, etc are mostly domain name sales. Some of these domains do have traffic though.
ad2earn
very useful topic
Alkuras
you can get your own domain from Global Domains International check it out on www.samkapoh.ws

TheSafelist
Sitepoint is very good.

I agree with Uncle Awesome about using Escrow for larger transactions because it is very easy to be scammed otherwise.

Good luck!
MyTechWiz
I use sitepoint and godaddy, they have quite a few great sites for sale at all times

I use Sitepoint exclusively... There is a lot of stuff posted to digitalpoint but it's not as well organized or as professional.
5220xpress
i think purchasing site from yahoo or google is good as of their quality and support.
pokerman69
sedo is good and honest
forerx
Oh,I think it very useful and thank you !!
WebProdigy
Sitepoint, sedo and digitalpoint.

Sitepoint and digitalpoint usually will not have the very high $xxxx websites for sale but low $xx to high $xxx can be found there. Sedo on the other hand has some every expensive websites for sale.
OMGretards
Digital Point is where I got carz.com. Digital is a great site and I couldnt of got a better deal for the site, I basically stole it from the guy it was so cheap.
gary31
I enjoy Digital Point as well! SitePoint is a good one too smile.gif

For certified sales with traffic monitoring, integrated escrow etc:
www.sedo.com/services/s_buyproject.php3?tracked=&partnerid=&language=us

for a relatively moderate/ verified small / medium site purchase:
/marketplace.sitepoint.com

For bargains and miscellaneous:
forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=52

For smaller deals, minisites etc
www.namepros.com/turnkey-websites-for-sale/
www.dnforum.com/f233

For random purchases -
www.ebay.com IT sections may also help
andyparker01
yes. if you want to buy website you can buy from domain name seller site. which sell online domain.
coolguy64
yeah godaddy is the way to go
TeamDavis
For the record, sitepoint's website listings are now on Flippa.com. Also, one of the best ways to locate good sites that have real value (not just junk sites) is to search the web for sites that look interesting and that meet your niche needs and make a direct offer to the owner. Just because it is not listed for sale somewhere, does not mean that it is not for sale. Everyone has a price!
hertzsurfer
sitepoint is definately the no1
WealthPool
carz.com << my favorite

I think digital point is best.Because, here you don't need to pay for buy or sale your site.
bueller82
eBay always has good sites up for sale... it's not where you buy it, it's whether or not it's a good site

I don't think so. Ebay is boring. Though I just list one site & only 12 visitor visit my site for sale ad!Besides, they charge me $6. Though, I failed to sale that site. So,still I like DP.
hyipsitereview
I can suggest another web site & that is bido.com. Though, here you never sale any cheap price web site. But, its still best site. Because, its also free listing.
keyboardboy1
I purchase different sites from ebay.

I've sold domains on ebay and bought a couple sites which I have flipped. Ebay and Paypal tend to take much of the profit though.

Check out...

freshdrop.net
snapnames.com
pool.com

All are excellent for aged domains and give you lots of stats to analyze to be sure there is value.

Great topic of discussion. However, I have got some great ideas for making money online. Let us have a look. If you are wondering how to make money by using your hidden flair in writing or photography or singing or anything that you pursue as a hobby maybe, then gighour.com is the right place for you. Gighour is a place where you can find buyers of the gig or the little something that you can do, which the buyers lack the talent, time or energy to do themselves. You join as a freelancer in the site and post the gig that you can do. Or if you are looking for somebody to tell your fortune or do a painting or other such gigs or jobs for you, you can look out for a freelancer who offers such services. Gighour is not limited to archetype freelance job categories like programming, design etc. On the contrary you can stretch your imagination to the point of even offering to pose as somebody’s girlfriend to make his former girlfriend jealous.

I bought domains and create my site at web weaver elite. It is such a good interface and easy to use.
I hope this will help you.
