Clearly if someone knew the exact Google algorithm for their search results they would be wealthy. Let's just put together a list of things we have noticed in ranking high in Google.

Here are a couple:

- New Content trumps old. If you make a new blog post notice that it will start ranking quite high, and then slowly creep down the listings, unless you have new incoming links pointing to that article or page. Old Website domains trump new.
- High Or incoming links are not as powerful as they used to be. I think they are weighing other factors more now.

Not always true...

It depends on the searched keyword.....If that particular keyword/topic has already been on the web for a long time, especially in a domain name, even if your latest blog post contains that keyword, it won't rank high....
