If you have not heard of Squidoo yet then you need to check it out. Google loves the lenses that you can create and usually places them in their index in 2-3 days after you create the lens.

Interne1, yes, it`s true that Squidoo provide plenty of opportunty to make some money.

It`s a peculiar thing with Google though, good Lenses tend to get indexed pretty quickly, but, from my own experience, and what I`ve read from others, they are quick to remove PR in the next update.

I don`t know why they do this, just one of those thngs, though I`m sure some have more success at keeping hold of their PR than others.

I must say I like Squidoo, very easy to edit and add content, and of course useful for adding links to other sites you may own.

I've created a few squidoo lenses. Gotten a fair amount of traffic from them. Not sure how to really explode it and earn more money. I'll read over this. Great info

I get paid every month from Squidoo.
I have 3 lens that get quite a bit of traffic every day.
The way to get more is to upgrade your lens often then
let the members know it has been upgraded. I use one
lens to advertise the many ways I make money on line.
The other 2 are about Type 2 Diabetes and one has recipes
for diabetics or just to lose weight.
Squidoo lens are easy to make and you can put a lot of information on one.

If you are with ezinearticles you can link your article feeds to show up in your lenses which gives you more exposure.

I have my 3 lens on squidoo but doesnt get any high traffic and so no good money. I dont agree with you that squidoo is good earning opportunity.

Squidoo is a great site and I do quite well with it but you must realize that it does take time and work to make it work for you. The real key is making lenses with popular keywords that are searched a lot based on trends and popular keywords. You also do need to link to them from other sources and drive traffic to them from other places. It also helps to use them to promote affiliate products and other places where you can make money and sales.

I have several lenses on squidoo and have yet to make any money with them.i constantly upgrade.What more can be done and how do you link to articles?

I've made a few squidoo lens but haven't made a cent from them. But then again once I made them that was pretty much it. I didn't go back to update or add any additional content. It sounds like some people are having some success with the lens' so I guess I'll try paying a little more attention to the lens' I do have. Thanks for all the tips and advice!!!

I did come back to squidoo last few days and have created 2 new lenses in it with non-money making theme. My idea is to test Squidoo as source of traffic...looks like some members here are having good time with squidoo.

It turns out that you got to use html code but still I do not sure Squidoo allows this or not. Testing Testing and more testing. If you look at my Squids above and got input on how should I do it in term of generating some cash from it then please comment. I would appreciate it.

While I haven't made any money YET on Squidoo, I have 10 lenses made of the past month, 7 of them which are poised to earn $5-$30 each in adsharing revenue from the site. I also have a few sales lenses that I'm working on that are starting to pick up in traffic (great affiliate referrals for Amazon/eBay/Zazzle/Etsy, etc).

It takes time, but it CAN be a great resource if you use it properly and understand that it is no get rich quick scheme and DOES take a fair amount of work. But if you enjoy it for what it is instead of use it solely as a way to earn online, you'll have fun while you earn.

Squidoo is one of those sites that I just love and visit from time to time because some of the lens rank of Google, but I have never taken the time to really get into it.
