Before you spend money on paid advertising - just try the free advertising sites first. You can find many of them by doing a google search for safelist, FFA, or free advertising. Post your ads there and see if you get any results.

Don't waste your money paying for ads right away.

you could also do article, web 2.0, forum etc. marketing, to get free traffic...
