Has anyone had any good results with Ezine Ads for marketing Home Bus Ops?

I'd be really gratefull for any recommendations of who to contact/types of ads to use.

I have taken some ezine ads but with no results. The company that I signed up with submits to over 400 ezines and I paid about $100.00 and I had to confirm my email address for all those ezines. They posted my ad and no results. I've seen solo ads and that will cost you a bit of money and I don't know what kind of results you will get.

For me - I will just stick with safelist, opt-in email advertising, free advertising sites, and forums. No cost advertising or you can upgrade to some of those advertisers and you will get more features.

I have had very bad results with general email marketing. The only way I get people to sign up is by having a website with an email capture. Once I started giving away good information for their signup to my newsletter, I started getting results because I'm building trust having my own email subscribers.

Whatever you do - don't pay for solo ads!
