Let`s test your knowledge of different forms of transport.
Rules are as usual, ONE guess per clue only.
$1 for the winner paid in LR. Prizes to be paid out at the end of the contest later today.
There is however, one rule CHANGE. Members may only win a maximum of three (3) times in this contest, so that it makes it fairer for all. If any member wins 3 times, they should not answer any more questions for the duration of the contest.
Let`s begin..
This is a car which was created decades ago in Northern Ireland, with the British Government`s cash help. It wasn`t very successful, and soon went out of business.

Well one, thebigone. The correct answer is the Delorean car, designed by an American, John Delorean, and featured in `Back To The Future,` though as a company DeLorean went into receivership, losing lots of money.
Next question...
I`m looking for the name of a mode of transport which started out around the turn of the 20th century for passenger transport, but later became a part of military use.

Only two prototypes were built, but because of its size the design was considered a failure by its manufacturer and the government. It was just too big and difficult to maneuver to be a practical machine.

majdi290 is right in saying that edits aren`t allowed. I`d missed both of yours, thebigone. On this occasion I`ll allow it because I hadn`t made that rule clear to all participants, but, from now on , no more edits will be allowed.
