There is a new application out called Auctioneer that allows people to make money by having their eBay listings posted on facebook - you don't have to sell anything, it can even just be your watch list. What they do is they let you enter your eBay partner network ID and they insert that ID in a certain percentage of times on the links to eBay from your profile and Auctioneer pages.

The app actually takes it a step further and has your ID rotated in your referrals profiles and Auctioneer pages and their referrals up to a 6 degrees of seperation from you.

Check it out here: http://apps.facebook.com/auctioneer/tour.php

It's a new app, but I will keep posted.

There is no investment, but getting money is fairly straight forward - the eBay Partner Network (part of eBay) indirectly handles the payments, Auctioneer just rotates your eBay Partner Network Campaign Id into the links to eBay on your facebook profile and Auctioneer pages as well as on the pages of the people you invite (and the people they invite up to 6 degrees of separation from you). So really, Auctioneer is sort of like a tool to help you get money, it doesn't directly pay out, but it sounds very advantageous if you have a lot of friends who have friends (etc), because of how they distribute your Campaign Id.

The eBay Partner Network will pay you for any user that wins an auction or signs up for eBay when they came to eBay through a link that uses your Campaign Id. You can see the exact payment details here: https://www.ebaypartnernetwork.com/files/hu...ettingPaid.html

So, are you saying that as an ebay affiliate, I can, put my direct link up to an item on ebay, for instance, vintage
jewelry and that direct link will be put up on the auctioneer app? And when anyone on facebook bids and buys, I get the commsion?
Thanks

For anyone who sells on eBay, and is a member of Facebook, it looks like a `no-lose` situation.

If you are not selling, you can put the direct link up by adding it to your watch list (if you are selling it it will show up on your selling list) -- so long as your watch list is checked off as viewable on your facebook profile (in the app settings page), the link to that item will use your ebay affiliate id 50% of the time. So whenever your affiliate id is used in a link, you will get commission when someone bids and buys through that link.

Why only 50%? The rest of the percentage is used up by those who refer you (if any). So when you refer a friend, his/her items are only use their ebay affiliate code 50% of the time, but they also use your code 15% of the time.
