I have requested to withdraw money by check 4 months ago but unfortunately that check never arrived because it is sent by ordinary mail and I wonder why they dont offer express mail (in my case i am ready to pay them 50 dollars to send it over express mail) in my opinion I think ap is built for small bussiness (PTC...etc). anyway, I intend to order VM card but I dont know if funds can be withdrawn to these cards. Any one who tried them recently ?

Hello Metab

I'm sorry if your check is taking a long time to arrive and it is due to the fact we use only regular mail to send out checks that members withdraw. We have discussed in the pass to implement a faster way to send the checks out but with the arrival of bank support for over 30 countries and also for a soon to come bank wire withdrawal it seem that sending out checks for a high postage fee would cost to much for our members. We may in the future decide to expedite sending checks out for members who don't mind paying the high fee but at the moment it is not on the priority list to do so.

In the mean time if your country is one of the supported country for bank transfers, I would suggest to register your bank account to make bank withdrawals as it will be much faster.

what about the VM (Virtual Money) debit card? Is it ok for withdrawal? I can use it on atms

I would like to see the answer to that last Question. Alert Pay is getting their own cards too. But I heard it might not be ready til near Christmas!

I can't fault AP. And I will be happy to get one of their debit cards. Would be nice if it was before Christmas.

Hello Jmav

As long as you add your VM card as a bank account there is nothing wrong with using it with AlertPay. AlertPay doesn't allow for merchants to accept money from other AlertPay members to therefore put money on their own debit card. That is the difference between the VM card and other cards.

Also I just wanted to point out Jmav that your account should be fixed for the pm you sent me. Wasn't able to reply to your PM since I haven't made enough post to do so.

Hello Karmacrasy

I share your humor and it is quite unfortunate that in the pass AlertPay has not always been punctual on deadlines. With a bigger customer support team and a larger development team, the debit card feature will come sooner then expected. At Alertpay we are all very excited for this new feature and will keep our members posted on the progress. Register to our RSS feeder to stay up to date to future features on AlertPay.

Sooner than expected? I heard the time of Fall 2008. How sooner could it be? Late Summer?

We should be receiving the first batch soon, however there will only be a limited release to ensure the work flow is set-up correctly to ensure proper support and training for the staff members to be able to properly assist our members. For a more expanded release, we're looking at the holiday season.
