Does anyone here work with video editing? I want to edit some video and I would like to know which is preferred. I have been looking at Pinnacle Studio Version 10.
Also, does anyone know if there are any free downloads out there that are worth while?

I haven't done editing for awhile now but I used Pinnacle Studio 9 when I did and it worked pretty good.

I think you can download a free trial of it, and if you like it enough you can buy it or get it using other ways

i would suggest you to do some research on the program "sony vegas" in google, its not free to use, but free to trial.

depends on what you wanna do. If its just a homethingy...Pinnacle will help ya.
Adobe Premiere has now an Elements edition, just like photoshop elements.

But, personally I have bad experiences with editing on a PC in general. Tried Pinnacle stuff, Premiere, Vegas,... never crashed as much as when I was editing. None of the software I tested was able to conquer Mac.

If you wanna do some serious editing without any flaw and keep it fun, go Final Cut Pro.

Or AVID...but thats over the top, budgetwize

Once I put subtitles on a whole movie (the movie was 2 hours long) manually using Windows Movie Maker. It was a pain. But worked
