After visiting this site for a while and reading posts where people are helping each other out, I decided to do the same and ask the wise ones here for advice. I am an undergraduate student and about to graduate(I am graduating with Bachelors in Management) this December. I am a foreign student on F-1 visa and I am very limited right now in terms of earning money. I dont have a job and I have two empty month this summer and I want to do something. I want to get something started before I graduate. I am not saying I am completely clueless but I want some advice with what can I do to make these two months productive. I would hate to go back to doing $8/hour job because given whats happening right now it will be a waste of time. I have some skills but nothing special. I can speak 4 languages (Eng, Russian, Persian not fluent, Turkish) but I have no intentions of being an interpreter. I always wonder OK I AM GRADUATING IN 6 MONTHS, THEN WHAT? I need to do something and I need some advice. I would appreciate any help.

It depends on your current situation.

If you are low on cash, you better be EXTREMELY careful in the popular HYIP/Autosurf arena. I wouldn't even recommend it.

If you're looking for a way to earn money with little money down, you may want to research "Affiliate marketing." There are a lot of companies out there that will pay you quick commissions for simply referring other people to their products, and you shouldn't have to pay a single dime to join their "affiliate program."

Ryz is right and I agree with him.

Be really careful with those HYIP. I lost several thousands before.

Actually there are many way to start making money online at low cost or even free. Promoting an affiliate product is one of them. In most cases, you can join and sell a company's product for free. You can get started with this and learn the most important skill - Internet Marketing. This is a skill that you must master.

Good luck to you.

I get the picture, Podshoh. I am an immigrant myself.
Follow these folks advice, I've lost some money to HYIPs myself.
I can't say I'm pulling in a full income through my online activities yet, but it's getting interesting.
If you are going to have some free time, why don't you use it to explore what's out there for you?
This forum is a perfect mix of income opportunities and I'm sure you'll find something you would like to try. Maybe using your language abilities to promote to those markets?
I wouldn't recommend discarding the cash some "old-fashion $8 job" would give you, and at the same time you can explore other ways of making many -online- without investing, or investing little money.
Best of luck to you!

I appreciate all of your advices and honestly I have been looking around for some time now but no results. I guess I haven't been looking too hard. It would be great if I could at least get something started so I don't feel like I am wasting my time. Thanks again to everyone who took their time to reply.

What are blocking you to take action on what you have looked for? Maybe money, maybe afraid of fraud.....

You can tell us your problems then we can discuss and figure out the solution.

It can be difficult to just get started with all of the variables of the internet... Although, I suggest using methods that have been proven over time... Check out my site, which has been tried and tested for nearly a decade! If you have any questions or comments just leave them on my page...Thank you, and good luck!

Hey Podshoh,

Glad to find a fellow University student who find those $8/hr doing admin jobs (or whatever) useless.

We really don't learn anything doing those stuff. $8 for an hour of our time? I'm sorry, but my time is worth MUCH more than that, and have no intention to be paid on how much time I have given to anyone.

It seriously limits our earning capabilities. We only have 24 hours.

Suggestion wise, i recommend you purchase a low cost eBook on affiliate marketing, like what the others here have said. Be sure to purchase from established experts who are millionaires at their craft. One example I have is Ewen Chia.

I STRONGLY advice you to be VERY careful. Currently, for the "newbie" market, there are TONS of USELESS products out there. In fact...the more you learn...the more you will be confused.

So just purchase one low cost eBook, and try it out. You should then do whatever you can with that knowledge, and when you have the cash, invest in a home study course.

BTW, as a fellow university student, I like to recommend you a course that may be suitable for you...low cost and catered to your academic schedule.

PM me, and I'll fill you in.
