What am I paying for? What do I get? Premium inclusion in StumbleUpon starts at 5 cents per targeted visitor. We show your site directly to StumbleUpon members (a demo is available here). Targeting by personal interest, history of rating similar sites, location, and demographics (age, gender) determines who will see your site. There is no ad impression or click-through. Rather than using intrusive forms of advertising (like popup ads), we display your entire page.

Stumble traffic sucks a lot, seems like a waste of moolah. Rather advertise on related sites, if you have budget!

If anyone wants to exchange Stumbleupon id's and expand your network, drop your id here.
You know, this is such an easy way for you to get noticed. Just post your URL, others will `stumble` you, and you `stumble` them. Simple - yet effective.
By way of a reminder to all `stumblers` - don`t forget to post to let others know you`ve `stumbled` them, also.

Avtually, STU delivers nothing but a bounce traffic... I am having a lot of visitors from STU but they are useless and don't even stay my site for more than 30 seconds... waste of bandwidth..

From what I`ve seen myself StumbleUpon visitors aren`t serious buyers. As you say, they have a quick look, which gets you traffic, but is all rather pointless if they spend just a few seconds on the site.

StumbleUpon is a fun hang out for sure. But, is there any real benefit to using it?
I have been researching StumbleUpon lately, and upon reviewing my analytics it would seem that StumbleUpon appears to send me all kinds of traffic, but where is my CTR?
It is easy to see how StumbleUpon works; stumble a site, review it, send it to your friends, and hopefully it goes viral. However, is there really any benefit to the traffic that StumbleUpon is producing?
I don't think it is worth it at all as SU users stumble website as if they are changing channels on a TV. They have a tendency to get frustrated very quickly. So if they don't like even a single feature of your page they will thumb down it.
And they will never click on the ads. People click on ads to solve their problem. They can solve their problem by simply stumbling the site and moving on to another one in that niche. So very rarely they will click on the ads. IF out of 100 persons from a referring site 10 will click on the ads on ur site, 1 out of 100 SU users will click on such ads. So better not to waste money on SU advertising.
It only boost the traffic. I use stumble to boost the traffic.

Its good to get traffic and if you can find a stumble exchange then that works great. Yes, the traffic is not targeted but if it only hits that you are looking at then stumble works perfect.

I've added/stumbledupon everyone that has posted their ID's on this thread!
Yes, the traffic from StumbleUpon doesn't convert high at all. It's actually terrible, because it's not targeted.
But, the more thumbs up you get on StumbleUpon the better it looks to Google and it tends to rank your site higher in the search results.
So, I'm glad all of you are posting your links on here. I'll add you all and send you my sites hoping you'll give me a thumbs up. I will return the favor if you send me your site.
Please add me as a friend and send me your site. I think you need the toolbar to send.
Love stumbleupon. The only thing I don't like is that once I get started I stay on for hours. lol

Stumble brings massive traffic on your website, but don't expect high quality traffic on your website. So, expect high bounce rate of your website.

In my opinion StumbleUpon can add your sites (blog post and youtube videos works best with StumbleUpon) Google juice. After all your content is what makes visitors to engage more. And don't forget that this is free traffic.
StumbleUpon is the easiest way to discover interesting photos, videos, web pages and more, recommended by people sharing your Interests.

Yeah I wouldn't waste my money with stumbleupon advertising. People who use stumbleupon are looking to waste time on the internet, not buy products.

Before, Stumbleupon is useless as it only focus in bookmarking your site. However, these days after the recent Google updates; Stumbleupon and other social bookmarking sites played a big role in regaining the authority and ranking of those sites that were penalized by Google.

Yes, I agree that as the latest updates on stumble, and every stumble clickshow us very interesting and exciting pages that makes user to keep visit it and share the links on facebook, twitter, etc, So, Stumbleupon now is best to gather traffic if your links are interesting information but visual + animated information would be preferred to get traffic.
