it probably installs spyware or trojans or something else nasty on your computer. I'd be very dubious about any poker bots being offered for sale for $300 never mind ones that people are giving away for free. Why would you do that? There's no such thing as an off the shelf poker bot. They take hours of programming and even then what works at one level of betting won't at another level. To my knowledge there are no effective poker bots that can win playing anything other than heads up...

I have tried bots that require payments, and have made some money off them, mostly in the low hundreds, on $1-$2 tables. They are very risky, since winning is not guranteed. Also most accounts ended up being banned, which means any money i had in them were all frozen. Therefore i am very sceptical of such programs, since they are made by professionals and are still very detectable. Therefore i would not suggest using such programs, let alone free ones! Though if you are careful enough, and you are ready to monitor the prgrams progress and its detectabilty, then i would suggest going for a >$500 that will easily make $500 per day... yet it must be used in small segments, say every 2hours for 30mins... also, i would suggest playing during the other two hours.. so if you are being monitored, then you will still give that human aspect of playing. Just a Friendly suggestion. Oh and beware on higher stake tables, since there will be a higher chance of being monitored

I would recommend never to use bots, I had a friend who noticed that the game was very mechanical, and a bot could be used to play his game on autopilot. It worked consistently for him, until he had over $3000 of funds frozen for being caught. It is not worthwhile to use poker playing bots
