There are several good search engines on the web: Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask --and more... What is your favorite search engine and why? I was caught between Google & Yahoo so I married them both and chose PolyCola

I like google.

I have to go with the majority on this - Google is the best as far as I`m concerned.
Always google, no competition
Google the best fast search
I think there is no choice other than Google. I am using that and even earning money from most of their products.
Google of course.
But, I have been using goodsearch as well lately, as it pays charities of your choosing for each search done.
used to be gomamma and askjeeves...current favourite is yahoo
what about that new one ask.com I've seen the features - never needed them, but did try live help for searching and they did a pretty good job.
Google is most useful to me when I'm searching something. Others are just full of uninteresting info
#1 Google
#2 Yahoo
Yahoo~~ and 2nd is Google. But usually I double search for best result
Google to the world... yesterday... today... forever...
Google is the best.
Now there's a new search engine, presented as a Google alternative: www.cuil.com
My favorite is homepages friends, they use the Yahoo search engine but pay you between 3-6 cents per search you generate. Ive earnt 40 dollars so far.
Its free to join and you can get a percentage of your your friends earnings down 3 levels, its fantastic to get paid for something you are doing already. To your sucess Dave
It's the Goo for me 2. Others are still out there but, when I need to search, my fingers just automatically type google.com
Definitely Google...

I was caught between Google & Yahoo so I married them both and chose PolyCola I am sure most internet users are aware that most search engines keep a record of searches. Every time you use a regular search engine, your search data are recorded. Your search terms, the time of your visit, the links you choose, your IP address and your User ID cookies all get stored in a database. The identity profiles that can be constructed from this cloud of information represent modern day gold for marketers. But government officials, hackers and even criminals also have an interest in getting their hands on your personal search data. And sooner or later they will... I use a search engine called Ixquick Metasearch as of January 28th, 2009 Ixquick no longer records your IP address ! If you want to keep your searches to yourself check them out
Google, by far...
Regards.
Google, it has a simple feel to it (probably because it is, dud?).
Google seems to give me the most relevant results.
I would have to say Google is the best when I do a search between them and yahoo. The results are very different and seem to be much more up to date on Google.

I prefer google in general but for specific researching, I like Scam Search.
Definitely Google for me. Yahoo doesn't give me the results I want and there's too many information on the website and tends to load slower (and you get distracted easily)... I like Google's simplicity

I like Google's simplicity I second that. I don't like a search engine with a whole lot of other stuff on the screen. I will use yahoo and msn from time to time to see if there are different results, but only if i am frantically searching for something. lol.
Google of course and Yahoo when Google can't help me!
I'd have to go with Google.com
Google.
