Hey there, this is good info to know. Thanks for sharing this. My grandfather worked the register at Greyhound for 35 years in Philly and was an avid coin collector. I'll always remember his back bedroom in his rowhome just filled with boxes and boxes of coins all put up in those white protectors. I'll also never forget when he decided to "cash in" and liquidate his collection. He ended up buying a new car, amongst some other things, though he never went in for material things. The car was the ugliest shade of mint green, a 1985 Pontiac Catalina he got on special. I wonder why. But yeah, it was a real eye opener as to the benefits of coin collecting. I always figured though that by now all the good coins were taken! Unfortunately I never took it up, though still have a great respect for those who do it. You're absolutely right when you say that it's all about precious metals. Presently I belong to a goldmining group at yahoo in hopes of actually getting out and about to go find some. I know I'll be hooked if and when I do.
