My friends and I usually get together every other Friday night for a few hands of poker. How often do you actually play and win? The most I have walked away with is only $75.00.

Used to have poker night until it got out of hand and expanded to "poker day". Eventually ended up with a designated poker weekend, until bigger and better things came along.

My poker night is Wednesday. We play usually 6-seater winner takes it all. Buy in is $5 and $5 rebuys in the first hour. We have a slow blind structure so it last more than 2 hours. We have just started this tradition recently but everybody likes it so we do it now every week. Only 1-2 beers are allowed per person so we do not lose our composure

I think i am going to copy the re-buy part and tell my buddies, we should really add that to our poker game.

Here i don't have a poker night, we just play when someone comes out and say, "Hey lets play poker"

We play every few months. Typically $5 tourneys with 6 or 8 guys. Sometimes we go until the sun comes up so we tend to get lots of tourneys in each time we play. Good times.
