Thanks Hi, don't know where you are, but in lots of countries, spread trading or spread betting, as it is known is extremely popular (in the USA it may be still illegal) You don't need a broker in the conventional sense; just do everything online. I recently undertook an excellent Forex course from a guy called Sid Wyemann. The platform he points his pupils to is OANDA. You'll find positive & negative comments about all of them, but often it's just down to personal choice. carl29 QUOTE(Kubas.4Mi @ Mar 3 2008, 09:27 PM) Hello everyone, I'm looking for good broker and I don't know which one I should choose. If you choose FXOpen however, I do offer a 1/2 pip rebate for all positions closed +/- 4 pips. Keep it in mind
Yes, I heard good things about oanda.
They've been around so long, probably the oldest broker on the internet, I think?
FXCM is popular in my country. My brother uses Forex.com and FXCM.
QUOTE(asgardian @ Mar 7 2008, 10:21 PM) FXCM is popular in my country. My brother uses Forex.com and FXCM. I think it all depends on your strategy! Like one is using scalping method and opening trades withing seconds and out. fast execution, requotes etc. Some brokers don't like scalping,so they might increase spreads if one is using very good scalping method. I've seen many complaining about OANDA because people with good EA having negative balance and having all positive balance on different broker. I don't know why though. You just have to experience it on your own. There is no best forex brokers. some broker will scam your money, make sure that is no dealing desk of the broker, but the spread will vary.

I like oanda because of Paypal
To me Interbank FX is a good choice...

FXOpen will have true ECN MT4 in a couple of weeks. That is a killer feature!
FXOpen will have true ECN MT4 in a couple of weeks. That is a killer feature! i am trading at fxopen too, i like this broker cause they have low and fixed spreads, accept many e-currencies, automatic referral commission sytem For ECN MT4, can you explain more about that, look would be great updates ? For ECN MT4, can you explain more about that, look would be great updates ? ECN on MT4 will mean instant fills and once filled, stay filled conditions. As for FXOpen's ECN move, I can't say anything specific as yet. I don't know that much myself so we will all have to wait Can anyone please tell your feelings about ForexWebTrader ? They accept Liberty Reserve, like FXcast. So which one could be best in your opinion ? or maybe you can suggest another one to accept e-currency ? and is there one accepting Pecunix ? Thanks in advance Can anyone please tell your feelings about ForexWebTrader ? They accept Liberty Reserve, like FXcast. So which one could be best in your opinion ? or maybe you can suggest another one to accept e-currency ? and is there one accepting Pecunix ? Thanks in advance I would avoid brokers with "web interfaces". There is no real platform. Just a series of web pages. The Metatrader 4 platform is the best there is with integrated charts and ease of use. It's also an installed application meaning you don't have the instability and lag problems of a webpage interface. Hello everyone, I'm looking for good broker and I don't know which one I should choose. Can anybody tell me about some brokers? Especially Oanda, FXcast, FXopen and Liteforex...Which one is good and why? Thanks They all are marketmakers. I prefer ECN brokers like curenex , Dukascopy SDwiss FX marketplace. But from thisb liost I think Oanda is more or less ok. But be careful with big amounts. If amount is bigger than 40 000, better start look for some ECN broker Hello everyone, I'm looking for good broker and I don't know which one I should choose. Can anybody tell me about some brokers? Wich broker do you recommend to deposit just 70$? I wanna deposit 70$ just to test the live trade. Can anyone give me some brokers with good spreads and the most secure ones because i dont wanna get scam There are thousands of online trading brokers available. I could not recommend anything which i have not used or verified. As most of them are found to be scam. I am using Finexo last 2 years and never encountered any problem. It is a reliable broker and provides timely updates and tips. i thoroughly use the technical charts as being a day trader. It provides all type of charts without any delay in currency quotes. I am earning avg 12% monthly return which is quite satisfying for me. The best things i like about Finexo is : 1. Leverage ratio: 1:200 which is quite manageable as high leverage will lead to greater pressure on traders. 2. Rolling charges are quite low compared to other platforms. Also they charge different rates depending on gaining or losing position which is good for traders. 3. Easy deposit and withdrawal facilities. 4. Great fund managers controlling my accounts very well, specially when i am out of trading for some days. 5. 24hr customer services available. can have live chats directly through Finexo sites. 6. at the last, Very well timed forex alerts and tips in order to derive profit through those news.
I'm trading with England Foreign Exchange www.efxco.com for 6 month and I was satisfied till now but if you ask me you should specified what you really want and then search for your broker.

My broker is quite good most because they have good software to trade, you know, programming EA and that stuff, I’m always training to make something nice to automate orders…mmm!…my last situation was resolved with their “help desk”
If someone can also tell anything about tradeviewforex.com we can share ideas, jeje In any case excellent NFA certified brokers out there
for me,i choose instaforex
what if a trader is not placed in the US but is looking for a broker there to invest with? I imagine there are lots of traders outside looking for a live account here, world capital
I too recommend using a few platforms until you find your favorite one (IE, the one that answers most of your trading needs and preferences). I started out with my favorite being etoro and now it’s avafx.
Trader’s recommendations are definitely the best source of info, but there are some Forex portals and review site out there that provide great comparison between the different brokers and platforms. My favorite is www.dailyforex.com. Their reviews are written by traders, and you can contact them to help you choose a broker. As for international traders investing in US brokers, it's possible, but I suppose you have to make sure on a case to case basis if it's doable.
I would highly recommend Broco
they connect to currenex and not bucketshops see my sign
it really depends which platform you use...
I've tried Oanda -Dont really like it because I got used to MT I presonally recommend AvaFx. If join them trough 7days-forex.com promotion you will get $20 from 7Days-Forex and up to $1200 from AvaFx depending on your first deposit. Yes broker choice is very personal but i have faced execution trouble with AVA..... with brokers since its all unregulated make sure two questions are answer before u sign up: 1. protection of your funds: either pick a well capitalised firm or one that offers segregated accounts. i know its a new idea for most US based traders but segregated accounts for brokers are a requirement in australia and i think NZ too. Since most of the interaction is internet based i dont care where the broker is based as long as its now in africa !!! dont want their server crashing on me.!! WSD-NZ.com is one such broker and hold funds in segregated trust accounts so thats pretty cool in terms of safety. 2. this is another important consideration: execution...is the system good , do they reqoute etc etc..slippage? The brker i just mentioned uses MT4 and no slippage!!...havent been requited either.. sometimes though execution may take a few seconds but not a major problem and i think its quite common with most brokers. They also have a promo going...they add a $1000 to accts..sucks cause i signed up way earlier..
may i know which one that offer Microlot? cause i want to start trading with little amount ($250)
and microlot is my only option. I know forex.com got microlot option but they have no paypal as funding. Any other recommendation, guys? may i know which one that offer Microlot? cause i want to start trading with little amount ($250) and microlot is my only option. I know forex.com got microlot option but they have no paypal as funding. Any other recommendation, guys? FXOpen has micro accounts (1c per pip). You can also get a rebate on fxopen micro accounts through rebatefx
FXCM closes out all your positions when a margin call hits you on one. It's in their fineprint. You lose more than you would have to, and more than you would lose with other platforms. Other than that, and if you can avoid margin calls completely, LOL, it's a very good and reliable one.
I think 90% of all, what you call "brokers", are sweat shops that trade against you; your loss, their profit. So their aim is take you money as soon as possible. A real world broker however is an intermediary that charges you brokerage fee, usually $ 5 per $ 100.000. Those are also called ECN. I think the best are MB Trading and HotspotFX as both have no interest in you losing money. Quiet the contrary, they want to keep you as a customer as long as possible as you pay them brokerage!
