Hello,

If I have a friend in India who I have lost touch with over the years, where's the best place to start to look for them?

You must start inquiring at the last place you had met him/her.. and then if you had common friends ask them.

I have found my old friends whom I have lost touch at www.orkut.com ,If you know the Full name,The work will become all the more easier,
