Today,
After the shut down of desireshyip,I came to see some of the same banners advertisements as before. Then only I came to know that they are being placed on MMG servers, that’s why the banner adds were showed even after close of the programs in some rare cases..

I think its good to link the banner link instead of placing on MMG server. In this, way the unused banners will be deactivated with any glitch from advertised site. Also MMG will save some BW, though I am n’t sure how it could influence about server performance !

Thanks ! unsure.gif
Sorry for any exceptions.

We used to ask the same question as of why MMG used to keep the closed program banners when we were noobs i.e. 2 years back..

But, now invest on ur responsibility is the key..

So, enjoy the noob days and I guess there's lot still to learn for you..tongue4.gif

But, let's see what technical answer comes from the admin..:=)

Nice,
Being a Noob here on MMG has nothing to do with my investment ideas.
I know, how noob am I, when it comes to investment responsibility.
Yes, I have lots of things to learn ahead & I wish I will get some good & honest guides.
I am n’t sure (even about my own question, just asked anxiously). But all I can say,as an admin,Yippee is far nicer than ever,I have seen yet related to this industry.
Anyway Thanks & Good Luck Ahead! smile.gif

Hosting banners locally gives MMG control over the images being displayed. This prevents unscrupulous webmasters from switching their initially approved banner advertisements with a new file of inappropriate content or one injected with a virus. It also doesn't leave MMG dependent on a third party to serve ads.

Yes,
That’s the best decision about security measures. smile.gif
A quick support section to report about retired (sites) adds is also a good option.

If you see a banner in the rotation for any closed program, just use the REPORT button in that programs thread and let us know. THANKS
