Hi All,
I have a dynamic ip address so everytime i restart my router, my ip resets, and so i get loads of ip change detections.Today tried again to log into my account and again the message came up 'Ip address changed an AccSent Pin' has been sent to yout email address. This was over 6 hours ago and i am still waiting.I have sent a support request but the response will take ages.
Anyone any ideas how to resolve this so that i can access my account please?.

you can turn Accsent off, but that would lower the security level in your account.

I don't think i made it clear.
I was unable to open my Account without the pin.
Hoever E-Gold contacted me today and i was able to access my account.
But what did i find when i got there.
1 $ 26.66 had been taken from account during the period that i could not gain access.
2 the contact email address had been changed from my one to 'nneomawowo1@hotmail.com'

I do not know how they managed to get into my account i had a 15 digit passphrase.
I have emailed E-Gold with the details and when i hear from them i will post here.

The hotmail email address is no longer active.
So people beware of ' Bussines Account No 2526493 '

maybe u have trojans on your computer that u used to access your e-gold account?

You did not get the AccSent because they had already taken over your account and changed it email address on profile.
It also means that they manage to get the login details for both your e-gold and email accounts.

You need to install a firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware - preferably a full Internet security suite. Its worth the trouble. You're very lucky to have got access to your e-gold account again.

to get both your email and e-gold login, very likely is due to trojan on your computer. try a-squared free scanner to scan for trojans

Ouch.. I think that E-gold is not gonna help you. When my account got "hacked", they just told me to go to a local police department.. Not going to with a loss of 5$

Unfortunately I don't think the police department would help with $26 in e-gold.
