There seems to be not much in search engines about V-money, but this might be a "real deal".
While their fee table is quite "thin", as to what one can do with the account, those few operations are "useful".
Account can be funded with e-gold for supposedly only 2% fee, funds can be withdrawn TO e-gold for 4%.
Per well established exchange service www.goldex.net, V-money can be used to fund goldex debit card for only 3% (with $10 minimum fee), OR exchanged directly to the bank (check or wire) for only 2%.
Considering the fact that V-money is listed on goldex.net among other e-currencies, if one trusts goldex, one logically should probably trust V-money.

I'm a member, or should I say former member, V-Money.net are scammers, they stole $3000 from me.
They do not respond to any form of contact. I asked GoldEX what they though of V-Money.net and they said they believe that V-Money.net seems ok, they even offered to help me get my money back, unfortunatelly without success.

I have checked our records and I believe you must be the person who attempted to transfer funds to a Goldtocard, which was then suspended when the whole GCard program was canceled. As such the transfer could not be completed but of course the funds are in your VMoney account and can be used at any time.
I understand your frustration and stress and I am happy to offer you an ATM card by GoldEx free of charge, which you can use to withdraw funds from VMoney and other digital currencies.

I just logged into my account and what do I see...? I got my money back!! Yay! Happy!
I take back what I said, that V-Money.net is a scam, they're not.

It must have been a technical bug (although it's strange that my emails and "Contact Form" submissions and Contact via GoldEX were ignored for almost a year, since mid August 2006).

Nonetheless, I have my money now so V-Money.net is OK
Just answer emails a bit faster and I give you two thumbs up

V-money is now seeming to be utter waste..

With less protection, patchy processor script and responseless admin..

It seems that they need to improve a lot..

For the moment, the possible replacement for egold is surely LR and PU..

because, they seem to be truly going good. I think the forums should endorse LR if they want to get the industry going since v-money is down for me since 1 week now..

The admin isn't "responseless" but very busy trying to manage multiple businesses and solve problems.

I understand your frustrations in regards to their site uptime, but it is important to understand that if a DDOS attack is big enough, no amount of protection will be able to keep a site up. There are a lot of jealous parties out that that don't want to see v-money succeed that are willing to fund/coordinate attacks like this.

I personally don't have any experience with V-Money, have been with E-Gold for years, got a number in 119XXX and I have to say they were extemely slow at first but have improved with time, V-Money will be the same way. While I used to feel that nothing could ever effect E-Gold, I have changed my mind about that, don't stay with E-Gold, now that the greedy feds have their hands in things it's just going to get worse and worse especially if you use your account for HYIPs and such.

Was going through the Vmoney site and deciding if I were to fund this account or the Liberty Reserve. I think I indeed prefer LR to Vmoney for now.
