I was wondering whether I could wire to japanese bank to get my e-gold account to be credited. Everytime when I have to fund my e-gold account, I have to wire internationally, so it gets expensive. For example if I want to put 100$ into my e-gold, the fee for the wire is around 7000yen (around 60$)
手数料を安くしたいんですよね?現金書留 registered mail containing cash ではダメなんですかね?

日本では、郵便局で必要な手続きをすれば、現金入りの封筒を配達してもらえます。

Togu,
Maybe you got your answer, but at the moment, the only way is to send with a bank wire. You could try through the post office, which costs 2500 yen, but it is slower than a bank. Also, they cannot tell you how much the receiving bank will charge, so you have to add extra yourself. Some exchange services used to allow cash deposits to a bank account in Japan, but they stopped doing that. e-forexgold.com may offer the service if there is enough interest in Japan.
