Hi,

Keep hearing that Gmail is more secured that Yahoo Mail accounts.

Is this true ?

Why and how is Gmail more secured than Yahoo Mail ?

I'm not really sure but wwhat I notice is that everytime I login to my gmail account, the small padlock at the bottom of my screen is locked. But with Yahoo, the padlock is open.

Your small padlock is lock already on the page mail.google.com, when you are not come in your account!

I think also that gmail is more secured free mailbox of all.

gmail has thee best spam filter.. ever.

Gmail also stores your emails for an indefinate amount of time...

You will need to be invited

Its not launch to public so you have to get the invitation 1st to sign up...

I like Yahoo for some reasons and Gmail for others so I have accounts at both

Gmail -->> Easy, Nice design, and has more than enough space to save your giga mail

I prefer use gmail than yahoo!

gmail domain name is nicer. I had to agree that their spam filtering system is top notch. very solid.

Gmail has a much better filtering system. But i prefer Yahoo coz of the folder system it allows, thus my inbox stays in a orderly way.

The equivalent of "folder" in GMail is the "label" -- and it's pretty neat as well...

I've tried Gmail, and it has some great features, but I just can't deal with the fact that I can't put things in folders. I get a lot of e-mails - why would I want to look at at an Inbox with 1000's of messages in it? Too cluttered.

you can have also secure login in yahoo by choosing secure below your login information, otherwise standard log-in,

i gmail you are using an SSL https:// but doest choose anyway just log-in unlike yahoo that you need to choose secure. also gmail you can use the gmail drive, put like a virtual hard drive that uses your email login.

gmail is very good compared to yahoo

yahoo briefcase is better in this situation, the gmail drive clutters up my inbox

Gmail - just label, archive, and your inbox is no longer cluttered. It calls folders 'conversations' is all.

its userfriendliness, simplicity and never having to delete any email messages make this better than yahoo!

Yahoo is indeed easier to use but I get TONS of spam. Ever since I installed Yahoo Messenger on my old computer and used SBC DSL Yahoo I started getting SPAM SPAM SPAM!

Gmail is nice but hard to organize.

Yea GMail is the best Email Program that is ever existed and come to think of it Spam filtering and lots of MB to have that much of amount in your inbox. They are so awesome.

Yes it is true that you have to get invitation by the person who have GMail account.

I think that gmail is the best, but I use yahoo, sometimes gmail.

One biggest disadvantages in Yahoo is a lot of advertisement, and there is no POP3
