it seem marketiva make so many rules that make ppl hard to trade nowadays...can any body give any suggestion best broker fx

There is no perfect broker in this arena but I have no problems with hotspotfx, saxobank, IB and others.

Give a try to North Finance. I never traded on it because it appears too complicated but its mostly recommended.

I like www.oanda.com, they have been great.

Small money - Oanda, liteforex(MT4 platform $1 min, egold), IFC markets (Like MT4 platform, no min, egold)
Medium Money - North Finance (MT4 $100 min, leverage up to 1:500, free debit card, low spread)
Bigger money - fxlq (Liquidity provider, MT4, very small spread sometimes 1 pip, 2-3 on majors advertised)

Just type forex in Google search bar and see where Northfinance comes out compare to other brokers.

hmm,,, well i think for medium money,,, NF isnt good enough, NF server is quite slow & "requotes" is happened many times especially when News Occured,, i advise to use FXDD if u have at least $500 to trade in forex..

Small for me - None,, if you have small money u shouldnt be trading
Medium - FXLQ or northfinance

LArge - Dukascopy.. Nothing beats dukascopy at the moment.

I have never seen fxcm come up in recommended broker. How come? Personally, I have never tried them. Any comments?

I use the following brokers, all demo accounts at present, principally because they use the metatrader platform - StrategyBuilder, IBFX, North Finance and Alpari.

Other than Alpari could someone suggest any other UK brokers or non-UK brokers allowing accounts to be denominated in £ using the metatrader platform.

I've been quite satisfied with FXCM. My only complaint is that they do not use MetaTrader.

Oanda has a better spread. FXCM on the other hand has one of the worst spread around. I personally could do better than them on the spread.

FXCM's days are numbered. The NFA is shutting down brokers with less than $5,000,000 in funds. FXCM has around $2,000,000 i believe. Not enough to cut the mustard. It must suck being NFA registered hehe.

The broker that I am using right now is FX Solutions (fxsol.com). I think they have a very cool trading platform, an the big buttons make it harder to accidentally click a wrong button.

Also, you can create external windows outside of the main platform for each individual currency pair, which is great if you have a multi screen setup.

The name of their platform is Global Trading System.

One downside though is that there is no web access, you must have the software installed.

If you are looking for web access, GFT Forex is a good one. They have mobile access too.

i think FXCM spends too much money on advertisements on yahoo etc, that's why the spread is bigger than other brokers

I would say the best one is fxcast.com at the moment for severall reasons:
1. if you use their swing platform, spread is 1 pip
2. they accept almoust all e-currencies
3. on metatrader platform they deliver realy nice quotes, you see it moving few times a second, so really easy to use EA for short term trading and news trading
4. instant deposit/withdraw
5. no paper documents needed

Trendnow is just another IB pushing ForexGen. Here and elsewhere, he (and his friend/alternate identity Alessandro0003msc) claims that all complaints about ForexGen not returning money to clients are somehow part of a huge conspiracy run by Felix (who founded the Forex Peace Army of which I am a member).

Don't take his word for it. Don't take my word for it. Do your own research.

Run a google search on ForexGen and Fraud or ForexGen and Scam.

Check out the threads at Forex Peace Army, Forex-TSD, and Alan's Money Blog for more info. You could have checked the threads at BabyPips, but Trendnow already got banned and erased there.


Always remember, it doesn't matter how good the broker is if there's any chance that they won't let you get your money back out of the account. Research brokers thoroughly. Find reviews by actual clients who are not IBs.

I never said that. I said that I am not a client of ForexGen for a number of reasons. These include:

1. Numerous complaints of not returning money to clients.
2. Terms of service that allow them to retroactively cancel trades for any reason.
3. Spamming IBs who post under many different names.



I am a proud member of Forex Peace Army. I said that I had not personally met Felix.



I have never been banned from any forum. Trendnow, Alessandro0003msc, and many other names have been banned. Some of my posts were removed, but ONLY in cases where an entire ForexGen spam thread was removed (usually accompanied by one of more ForexGen IB spam accounts getting banned - my account always remained functional).

FPA reviews are written by individuals. Just about every broker with more than 10 reviews has some good ones and bad ones. At this time, the FPA has one and only one active scam investigation going against a broker, and that broker is ForexGen.



I have an extensive record of asking and answering many questions on many topics on the Forex Peace Army forums. As for why I fight spammers and scammers so aggressively, read the thread on Alan's Money Blog again.

You and Trendnow and Alessandro0003msc and Nicole Forex and Adriano Forex and over a dozen other names have ZERO history anywhere other than posting things for ForexGen. The "ForexAng" account was solely to attack me and hasn't made a single posting anywhere on any other topic.

You and Alessandro have an identical writing style (as does Trendnow). You both use the same insults and deceptions too.



Brokers are always welcome to come to the review are and the forums on the Forex Peace Army website to talk about their companies. Many brokers have made posts within our review areas to address issues there. Sadly, ForexGen only seems to let their IBs throw out posts that make the company look foolish.

You and your many usernames can attack me all you like, but once again, the real issue of why so many people have complained that ForexGen refused to return money to traders is met by total silence by the company itself.

Im using Oanda and MBTrading, Dont use Oanda when ecomonic data release, it will fast blow your account with the monent wide spread (20 pips).
